Returner
is a 2002 Japanese science fiction action film directed, co-written, and with visual effects by Takashi Yamazaki. It stars Takeshi Kaneshiro and Anne Suzuki as a hitman and time traveler, respectively, who team up in present-day Japan to prevent an alien race from invading Earth. and Kirin Kiki are featured in supporting roles. Production took place from circa January to April 2002. It reportedly aspired "to be a combination of '' Mission: Impossible, The Matrix'' and '' Leon''", and exercised 300 computer-generated shots, as well as wire fu. The film was produced by Robot Communications and was funded by Robot, Toho, Fuji Television Network, Amuse Pictures, Shirogumi, and Imagica. A return specialist or kick returner is a player on the special teams unit of a gridiron football team who specializes in returning punts and kickoffs. There are few players who are exclusively return specialists; most also play another position such as wide receiver, cornerback, or running back. is a single released by Gackt, on June 20, 2007, by Nippon Crown. It is Gackt's first single to top the Oricon Singles Chart, and first by record label since Kaze's "22-Sai no Wakare" released in 1975. Summary In 2006, Gackt continued his tour "Diabolos: Aien no Shi" with a concert on January 14, in Korea, at Fencing Stadium in Korean Olympic Park, which was his first Asian solo concert. In August at an Otakon conference, it was publicly announced that he would form a band S.K.I.N with the co-founder of the Japanese famous metal band X Japan, Yoshiki Hayashi, for which the idea origins in 2002. With the band still in formation, Gackt on December 24 went on a small nationwide fanclub rock tour "D.r.u.g. Party", which was also continued with four concerts in Korea and Taiwan. ''The Returner'' is the second studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter, poet, activist and multi-instrumentalist Allison Russell. Produced by Russell, Dan Knobler and Dim Star ( JT Nero and Drew Lindsay), it was released by Fantasy Records on September 8, 2023, as the follow-up to Russell's award-winning debut '' Outside Child''.
