Return To Jupiter
''Return to Jupiter'' was an Australian television series, a 13-part follow-up to ''Escape from Jupiter''. It aired in Australia from 23 March to 15 June 1997. Plot After their escape from Io, Michael, Kumiko, Gerard and Anna, last seen in ''Escape From Jupiter'', are reunited on the Icarus, a solar cruiser that will take them back to their parents on Ganymede, one of Jupiter's moons. But the journey is far from a smooth one. Danger and excitement wait around every turn, as the children face a crash landing on Mars, hitch a ride on an asteroid, and race against two villains whose evil plan jeopardises the Icarus and its crew. Escape From Jupiter
''Escape from Jupiter'' is an Australian children's science fiction drama which aired from 26 November 1994 to 11 March 1995 on ABC. Concerning a small group of children on Jupiter's moon Io, the series ran for 13 episodes. When one of Io's volcanoes erupts, the surviving colonists must flee the moon and try to reach the safety of Earth. Using a derelict space station in orbit of Io, they convert it into a rudimentary space craft and set off, having many adventures and forming close relationships along the way. Ganymede, a satellite of Jupiter (Jupiter III), is the largest and most massive of the Solar System's moons. The ninth-largest object (including the Sun) of the Solar System, it is the largest without a substantial atmosphere (albeit not the most massive one, which is Mercury). Io (), or Jupiter I, is the innermost and third-largest of the four Galilean moons of the planet Jupiter. Steve Bisley (born 26 December 1951) is an Australian writer, film and television actor. He is best known for his roles in the films ''Mad Max'' and ''The Great Gatsby''. Terry Jennings (19 July 1940 – 11 December 1981) was an American minimalist composer and performer. Early life in California Terry Jennings was born in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, California, in 1940. Coming from a background in jazz, he played piano, clarinet, and saxophones. He played jazz with La Monte Young in Los Angeles in the mid-1950s, and later began to compose in the manner of Young's early sustained-tone style. He also studied with Robert Erickson at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Leonard Stein at the California Institute of the Arts.
