Magnus Uggla
Per Allan Magnus Claësson Uggla (pronounced ; born 18 June 1954) is a Swedish artist, composer, actor, and occasional radio host. He is known for his satire, satirical lyrics. Uggla was born in Stockholm. He was the lead singer of the hard rock band JUSO (later renamed Alexander Lucas) before going solo in the early 1970s. Their influences were Black Sabbath, The Groundhogs and Alice Cooper, among others. Uggla's first two glam rock, glam- and art rock-inspired albums ''Om Bobbo Viking'' and ''Livets teater''ˈ did not sell well, the first only about 500 copies in Sweden and ''Livets teater'' even less. But his departure from glam rock with the punk rock, punk and hard rock inspired ''Va ska man ta livet av sig för när man ändå inte får höra snacket efteråt'' gained him much popularity and the album sold about 150,000 copies. Mälarö Kyrka
"Mälarö kyrka" is a 1968 song in Swedish language, Swedish, written by Swedish television, TV man Sven Lindahl. The song text is about a young man sneaking into a Church (building), church late at night to play Johann Sebastian Bach, Bach and the Beatles on the Pipe organ, organ. The inspiration to the song text is from the church Adelsö kyrka, and the song was originally recorded by Lenne Broberg and released as a single (music), single. The song stayed at Svensktoppen for seven weeks during the period 24 March-5 May 1968. On 7 April 1968, his version of the song entered the #1 on Svensktoppen. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list. Astrologen
"Astrologen" is a song written by Magnus Uggla, appearing on his 1983 album ''Välkommen till folkhemmet''. The characteristic string arrangement was, as usual, made by :sv:Anders_Henriksson_(musikproducent), Anders Henriksson. Uggla wrote the song while being together with a girl who was interested in astrological signs. He first wanted to sing it as a duet with Agnetha Fältskog, but she was working on a solo album, and Uggla said he was afraid of asking. The song was recorded by Date (band), Date for their 2010 album ''Här och nu!''. Darin Zanyar performed the song in the 2012 edition of ''Så mycket bättre'' (season 3). Varning på stan is a song written and recorded by Magnus Uggla for the album '' Va ska man ta livet av sig för när man ändå inte får höra snacket efteråt'' in 1977. He also recorded the song with lyrics in English by Colin Griffin, as "Hit the Girls on the Run". The single peaked at number two on the Swedish singles chart. When played on radio, Sveriges Radio were reported to Radionämnden when some listeners considered the song lyrics being too vulgar and sexist. The English language-version was used in the 1978 film ''En vandring i solen'', and the Swedish language original version was used in the 1997 film ''Adam & Eva''.
