"We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" is a science fiction novelette by American writer Philip K. Dick, first published in ''The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction'' in April 1966. It features a melding of reality, false memory, and real memory. Synopsis Douglas Quail works a menial office job in the "not too distant future." His biggest dream has always been to visit Mars but he is constantly dissuaded by his wife. Ganymede (moon)
Ganymede, a satellite of Jupiter (Jupiter III), is the largest and most massive of the Solar System's moons. The ninth-largest object (including the Sun) of the Solar System, it is the largest without a substantial atmosphere (albeit not the most massive one, which is Mercury). In psychology, a false memory is a phenomenon where someone recalls something that did not happen or recalls it differently from the way it actually happened.
