Remixed (Boom Boom Satellites Album)
''Remixed'' is the first remix album by Japanese electronica/rock music, rock duo Boom Boom Satellites. Initially scheduled for release on September 19, 2012, it contains remixes of songs from their 15-year-long career, including the American exclusive track "Kick It Out (Boom Boom Satellites song), Kick It Out" featuring Tahj Mowry and Flo Rida (co-written by Marquist Johnson and Johnathan Perry) and the winning fan remix of their most recent single "Broken Mirror". The release of ''Remixed'' was postponed by the band due to issues concerning the album artwork, as announced on their Facebook page. Amazon MP3 listings place the new release date at November 28, 2012. The album's artwork was later changed, announced on October 5, 2012, and the new release date for the album set at November 7, 2012. Boom Boom Satellites
were a Japanese electronic music duo consisting of guitarist and vocalist Michiyuki Kawashima and bassist and programmer Masayuki Nakano. They were signed to Sony Music Entertainment Japan, with whom they had released all of their albums in Japan. History Kawashima and Nakano formed the band in 1990, having met at university and debuted in Europe as a rock unit in 1997. According to an interview, the name originated from a song by Sigue Sigue Sputnik. In 1995, the group's music debuted in Japan on a compilation album released by Torema Records, also affiliated with Untitled Records. Belgian record company R&S Records released their first single in Europe later that year. Kawashima and Nakano also appeared in the European magazine ''Melody Maker'', where they were lauded as the combination of The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy. ''Easy Action'' is the second studio album by the American rock band Alice Cooper, released by Straight Records in March 1970. The title comes from a line from one of the band's favorite films, the musical ''West Side Story''. As with ''Pretties for You'', the band's debut from the previous year, ''Easy Action'' was neither a commercial nor critical success. Singles include "Shoe Salesman" and "Return of the Spiders". Drummer Neal Smith later said of the record producer David Briggs, "David hated our music and us. I recall the term that he used, referring to our music, was 'Psychedelic Shit'. Double Dee and Steinski is a duo of hip hop producers, composed of Doug "Double Dee" DiFranco and Steven "Steinski" Stein. They achieved notoriety in the early 1980s for a series of underground hip-hop sample-based collages known as the "Lessons".
