The Equality Ride is a periodic LGBT rights bus tour made for young adults and sponsored by Soulforce, a national LGBT nonprofit organization. Dr. Haim Nissim Reitan (born May 20, 1946) is a doctor, diplomat, translator and publicist. Personal life Reitan was born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1946. At the age of nine, he moved to Israel with his family. He finished the college of biology in Bat-Yam. After finishing the military service, he won a studentship in Italy and since 1980 he has been an Italian citizen. Today he resides in Bergamo, Italy, where he has his own medical center. Medical career Reitan graduated in medicine from the University of Pavia, Italy, in 1974. Later, he had the possibility to make different medical specializations in cardio-vascular apparatus diseases, phlebology, nephrology in Pavia (Italy), in New York City, Miami and Texas, and further in London, Rotterdam and Tel Aviv. Lorentz Reitan (born 5 January 1946) is a Norwegian musicologist. He was born in Haugesund. He was an associate professor at Bergen Teacher's College from 1976 to 1989, then director of the Bergen International Festival from 1990 to 1995. From 1995 to 1998 he was their press director, and in 1998 he became the director of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. Malin Reitan
Malin (born Malin Reitan; 8 August 1995 in Trondheim, Norway) is a Norwegian singer. She finished 3rd in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2005 with her song "''Sommer og skolefri''". She is also a recording artist with several released albums. Malin sings in her regional dialect. Biography Malin's career as a singer started when she was nine years old. She auditioned for the Norwegian selection for JESC 2005, the Melodi Grand Prix Junior 2005, and she was selected to sing among ten contestants in the final show. Her song was too short though, so she had to write one more verse for it on the way home from the audition. After surprising herself by winning MGP Jr by a landslide, she went on a summer concert tour, singing at festivals and on television shows. In November, she performed in the JESC 2005 in Hasselt, Belgium and finished 3rd, the best position for Norway so far.
