Milborne St Andrew
Milborne St Andrew is a village and civil parish in the county of Dorset in southern England. It is situated on the A354 road, northeast of the county town Dorchester, in a winterbourne valley on the dip slope of the Dorset Downs. In the 2011 census the parish had 472 dwellings, 453 households and a population of 1,062. History Weatherby Castle is an Iron Age hill fort that encloses about on a spur of land about south of the village. Its structure comprises two concentric enclosures, though parts have been damaged by cultivation and ploughing. Pieces of Roman ware were found within the site in the 19th century. In 1086 in the Domesday Book Milborne St Andrew was recorded as ''Meleburne''; it had 10 households, 4 ploughlands, of meadow and one mill. It was in Puddletown Hundred and the lord and tenant-in-chief was Matthew of Mortagne. CRD (Continental Record Distribution) is an English record label specialising in recordings of classical music, based in Truro. It was founded in 1965 by Graham Pauncefort as an importer and distributor of specialised European and the American recordings, and in 1973 become a recording label in its own right. The distribution activity was split from the recording in 1974, and was taken over by an investment company in 1978. Unicorn-Kanchana
Unicorn-Kanchana is a British independent record label founded by John Goldsmith (died 2020), a former London police officer. Originally known as Unicorn Records, the name Kanchana was added later to distinguish the company from Unicorn Digital of Montréal, Canada which many progressive rock bands like Mystery are signed to. In Hindu and Buddhist mythology, the female name ''Kanchana'' means an Apsara, a spirit of the clouds and waters. The label specialised mainly in classical music and film soundtracks. Artists signed to the label included Andrzej Panufnik, Jascha Horenstein, Jennifer Bate, Henry Herford and Peter Maxwell Davies. The label also released several recordings of lesser-known British composers, including Havergal Brian, George Dyson and Cipriani Potter. Collins Classics
Collins Classics is a record label which specialises in classical music. It was founded in 1989 as a musical subsidiary of HarperCollins Publishers and distributed through Pinnacle Entertainment (United Kingdom). Artists who recorded for the label include Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, the Duke Quartet, choral group the Sixteen, Harry Christophers and Joanna MacGregor. Collins Classics also recorded over 130 albums with world renowned orchestras including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, Munich Symphony Orchestra and many more.
