Regional landscape park in Ukraine is one of the categories of protected areas of Ukraine. The Law of Ukraine defines regional landscape parks as follows: Regional landscape parks are environment-protected recreational institutions of local or regional status that are created with the goal of conservation in natural state typical or unique natural complexes and objects as well as providing the conditions for organized recreation for the population. Regional landscape parks are organized with withdrawal or without withdrawal of land plots, water, and other natural objects from their owners or users. In the event when the withdrawal of land plots, water, and other natural objects is necessary for the needs of the regional landscape parks, it is conducted in order established by the legislation of Ukraine. Categories of Natural Environment Protected Areas of Ukraine were reestablished (redefined) by the Verkhovna Rada (national parliament of Ukraine) after the fall of the Soviet Union. On 16 June 1992 the President of Ukraine Leonid Kravchuk signed the law on the ''Nature-Preservation Fund of Ukraine''. Mizhrichynskyi Regional Landscape Park
Mizhrichynskyi Regional Landscape Park ( uk, Міжрічинський регіональний ландшафтний парк) is the largest regional landscape park in Ukraine. It was founded in 2002 near the village Otrokhy in Kozelets Raion (currently in Chernihiv Raion) of Chernihiv Oblast. It is located between two large rivers, the Dnipro and Desna, from which the park's Ukrainian name meaning "between the rivers" is derived. Mizhrichynskiy Landscape Park has an area of more than 1,000 square kilometers in the south-eastern Chernihiv region. The Desna river forms the eastern boundary of the park, while the western and southern boundaries coincide with the border of Chernihiv region. There are many swamps, bogs and lakes. Znesinnya Regional Landscape Park ( uk, Регіональний ландшафтний парк "Знесіння") is the largest park in Lviv, Ukraine. It is located in the north-east part of the city and reachable within a 20-minute walk from the Ratusha (City Hall) and the Rynok Square (Market Square). Together with the Vysokyi Zamok ( High Castle) the hills of Park Znesinnya from Lviv's distinctive city skyline, known from drawings going back to the 16th century. Seymskiy Regional Landscape Park ( uk, Сеймський регіональний ландшафтний парк) is a regional landscape park in Ukraine. It was founded in 2002, although the plans to create it date back to 1980, near the city of Konotop in the Konotop Raion of Sumy Oblast. It is located on the bank of the Seym River and its floodplain, from which the park's Ukrainian name is derived. Seymskiy Landscape Park has an area of more than 900 square kilometers in north-western Sumy Oblast. The Seym River flows through the center of the park, while the western boundary coincides with the border of Sumy Oblast. There are many swamps, bogs and lakes.
