Reggie Williams (born March 5, 1964) is an American former professional basketball player who played ten seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was an NCAA Men's Basketball All-Americans, All-American college player at Georgetown University and was a member of their 1983–84 Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball team, 1983–84 National Championship team. Early life and college Williams began his career as a McDonald's High School All-American while attending Paul Laurence Dunbar High School (Baltimore, Maryland), Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Baltimore, where he played with fellow NBA players Muggsy Bogues, Reggie Lewis, and David Wingate (basketball), David Wingate. The 1981–82 Dunbar Poets finished the season at 29–0 during Williams's junior season and finished 31–0 during his senior season, and were ranked first in the nation by USA Today. Reginald Leon Williams II (born September 14, 1986) is an American former professional basketball player who played seven seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for five teams. He played college basketball for the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) where he is the school's all-time leading scorer and led the country in scoring twice. Reginald Dewayne Williams (born August 29, 1960) is an American baseball coach and former outfielder, who most recently was the head baseball coach of the Alcorn State Braves. He played college baseball at Southern from 1979 to 1982 and played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for 4 seasons from 1985 to 1988. Williams was born in Memphis, Tennessee. After graduation from high school, he enrolled at Southern University and played outfield for the Jaguars. He was drafted in the 6th round of the 1981 Major League Baseball draft by the St. Louis Cardinals, but returned to school for a senior season. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the California / Anaheim Angels and Los Angeles Dodgers. He played college baseball at USC Salkehatchie and later at USC Aiken. Reggie Williams (April 29, 1951 – February 7, 1999) was an American AIDS activist, who fought for culturally relevant AIDS education and services for gay and bisexual men of color. Williams served as a board member for the National Association of Black and White Men Together and as the first executive director of the National Task Force on AIDS Prevention.
