Reginald Jones, R.B.A (1857–1920) was an English landscape painter, who predominantly worked in oil, watercolour and pastel. Life and work Reginald Jones lived in Eltham, Kent and also in London. He travelled widely, particularly in France, Spain and Italy, producing many paintings of the landscapes he witnessed. Jones often travelled and worked with artist friends and contemporaries including Terrick Williams and Fred Kahl. After viewing Jones' work at the Royal Institute exhibition of March 1889, the English artist and critic Walter Sickert commented 'I am not sorry for Reginald Jones or Raven Hill. Their accomplished ''chic'' can hold its own anywhere. It is not progressive art, though a course of it might be a wholesome tonic to our stippling brigade.' Reginald Victor Jones , FRSE, LLD (29 September 1911 – 17 December 1997) was a British physicist and scientific military intelligence expert who played an important role in the defence of Britain in by solving scientific and technical problems, and by the extensive use of deception throughout the war to confuse the Germans. Early life Reginald Jones was born in Herne Hill, south London, on 29 September 1911. He was educated at Alleyn's School, Dulwich, and Wadham College, Oxford, where he studied Natural Sciences. In 1932 he graduated with First Class honours in physics and then, working in the Clarendon Laboratory, completed his DPhil in 1934. Reggie Jones (born March 15, 1986) is a former American football cornerback. He played college football at Portland State University and the University of Idaho. Professional career New Orleans Saints Jones was originally signed as a free agent by the New Orleans Saints on April 8, 2009. Though he tore his Achilles tendon during the season, he was a part of the 2009 Super Bowl Championship team. He recovered from his injury and the next year made the Saints practice roster. Reginald Dennis "Reggie" Jones (born 1951) is a retired Boxing, boxer from the United States, who represented his native country at the Boxing at the 1972 Summer Olympics, 1972 Summer Olympics. There he was controversially eliminated in the second round of the light middleweight division (– 71 kg) by Valeri Tregubov of the Soviet Union in a fight he was generally accepted to have won. Born in Savannah, Georgia, Jones moved to Newark as a child, attending the public schools and graduating from Weequahic High School in 1969, where he played basketball and football, as well as running on the school's track team. Jones took up boxing at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, Guantanamo Bay in Cuba while serving in the U.S. Navy. Reginald "Roger" Jones (1 September 1902 – 11 December 1967) was an English footballer who played at left-half for Port Vale from 1923 to 1937. He made a total of 346 appearances, 326 of which came in league games in the Football League. He helped the club to win the Third Division North title in 1929–30. Career Jones played for minor non-league sides Middleport and Ravensdale, before joining Port Vale in July 1923. He made his Second Division debut in the 1923–24 season, but remained a bit-part player in 1924–25, 1925–26, 1926–27, and 1927–28. He scored his first senior goal on 10 March 1928, in a 3–1 win over Southampton at The Dell.
