Regan Hood Scott
Regan Elizabeth Hood Scott (born August 10, 1983), also known as Regan Hood or Regan Scott, is an American female volleyball player, who plays as an Outside-spiker. She was part of the United States women's national volleyball team and she participated in the 2013 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix. At club level, she plays for Olympiacos S.F. Piraeus in Hellenic Volley league. United States Women's National Volleyball Team
The United States women's national volleyball team participates in international volleyball competitions and friendly games, and is governed by USA Volleyball. The current head coach is three-time Olympic gold medalist and retired dominant beach volleyball professional Karch Kiraly. Before 2014, the United States women's national volleyball team had achieved second place six times in major competitions (1967 World Women's Volleyball Championship, 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games, 2002 World Women's Volleyball Championship, 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, 2011 World Cup, 2012 London Olympic Games) but had never reached the top. CEV Women's Challenge Cup
The CEV Women's Challenge Cup, formerly (from 1980 to 2007) known as CEV Women's Cup is the third official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. It is organized by the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) and was created as in 1980 to allow more clubs to participate in European competitions. In 2007 it was renamed following a CEV decision to rename its second official competition (known as Top Teams Cup) to CEV Cup. 2014 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup
The 2014 Pan-American Volleyball Cup was the thirteenth edition of the annual women's volleyball tournament, played by twelve countries over June, 2014 in Mexico City, Mexico. The Dominican Republic defeated 3–1 to the United States to win their third competition's gold medal. Among the NORCECA, the USA team was already qualified to the FIVB World Grand Prix as wild cards, while the Dominican Republic qualified to the 2015 group I, Puerto Rico, Cuba and Canada to the group II and Mexico will play the 2015 FIVB World Grand Prix group III. The 2011 Pan American Games, officially the XVI Pan American Games, was an international multi-sport event that was held from October 14–30, 2011, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. ''El Nuevo Día'' (English: ''The New Day'') is the newspaper with the largest circulation in Puerto Rico. It was founded in 1909 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and today it is a subsidiary of GFR Media.
