''Reflections of a Shadow'' is the sixth full-length album by the German heavy metal band Rage. It was released in 1990. The album was remastered by Noise/Sanctuary in 2002 with slightly altered cover art, and five bonus tracks, largely taken from the EP '' Extended Power''. An album is a collection of audio recordings issued on compact disc (CD), vinyl, audio tape, or another medium such as digital distribution. John Scarpati
John Scarpati (born June 29, 1960) is a professional photographer whose photography has appeared on hundreds of album and CD covers for bands and individual musicians. He is also the owner of Scarpati Studio, a photography studio that does photography and layouts for advertising campaigns, some of which have won national and regional awards. Scarpati has produced two books based on his photography: Cramp, Slash, & Burn: When Punk and Glam Were Twins and Eyes Wide Open. The first major solo art exhibit of Scarpat's work was in 1991 at Midem – Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France. The exhibit was a dye transfer print series. Scarpati's work has also appeared in publications such as the New York Times and Rolling Stone Magazine. Manni Schmidt
Manfred "Manni" Schmidt (born 27 November 1964) is a German heavy metal guitarist, best known for having been a member of Grave Digger and Rage. History Born in Andernach, West Germany, Schmidt begun his career starting his own band Factor 6. However, the heavy metal band Rage had noticed Schmidt and his skills with the guitar, so in 1987, he was asked to become a member of that band. He joined and become a member of the trio and released many albums with them. In 1994, he quit the band. His first son was born in 1997, the second in 2003. In 2000, another door was opened for him, when guitarist Uwe Lulis left German heavy metal band, Grave Digger, their bassist Jens Becker suggested Schmidt as a replacement, remained with them until October 2009. In early 2010, Schmidt formed his own band, Capital Joke. Peavy Wagner
Peter "Peavy" Wagner (born 22 December 1964) is a German heavy metal musician best known as the lead singer, bassist and main songwriter of Rage. Biography Wagner was born in Herne, North Rhine-Westphalia, the second of four children. His parents, both passionate amateur musicians, tried to inspire their kids for music since childhood. Eventually, Wagner learned his first instrument, the classical guitar. He started to play on the electrical guitar a few years later and, inspired by Lemmy from Motörhead, finally switched to the electric bass in the early 1980s. In 1983, Wagner founded together with the two guitar players Jochen Schroeder and Alf Meyerratken the heavy metal band Avenger. In 1986, the band's name was changed to Rage. Wagner is the only member of the band to have stayed in it throughout its history. He currently performs as the band's bassist and singer. Sanctuary Records Group Limited was a record label based in the United Kingdom and is as of 2013 a subsidiary of BMG Rights Management solely for reissues. Until June 2007, it was the largest independent record label in the UK and the largest music management company in the world. Martin Popoff (born April 28, 1963) is a Canadian music journalist, critic and author. He is mainly known for writing about the genre of heavy metal music. The senior editor and co-founder of ''Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles'', he has additionally written over twenty books that both critically evaluate heavy metal and document its history. He has been called "heavy metal's most widely recognized journalist" by his publisher. Popoff lives in Toronto, Ontario. Rage (German Band)
Rage is a German heavy metal band formed in 1984 by Peter "Peavy" Wagner. They were part of the German heavy/speed/power metal scene which emerged in the early to mid-1980s, and have been referred to as one of the country's so-called "big four" of power metal, along with Grave Digger, Helloween and Running Wild. Rage was formed in 1984 under the name Avenger. After releasing their debut album ''Prayers of Steel'' and their ''Depraved to Black'' EP in 1985, the band changed their name to Rage because there was another band in England that shared the same name.
