''Rediscovered'' is the fifth studio album by English-Norwegian pop group A1 (band), A1. The album was released on 2 November 2012 in Norway, exclusively through daWorks Records. Two singles have thus far been released from the album: "Just Three Words", featuring singer Annie Khalid, which was released as a promotional single in April 2012, and the album's official lead single, "Trust Me", released on 5 October 2012. The album debuted at number 17 in Norway, becoming their lowest-charting album in their career. "Christopher Columbus A1 Song, Christopher Columbus" was released as the album's third single in April 2013. "That Somebody Is Me" has been released as a free track on 17 October 2014, during the Big Reunion Tour. This is the last album as a trio before original member Paul Marazzi returned to the group nearly six years later. A1 (band)
A1 (stylised as a1) is a British-Norwegian boy group formed in 1998. The original line-up consisted of Paul Marazzi, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Mark Read and Ben Adams. Ingebrigtsen is originally from Oslo, Norway, while the other members originate from London. Their debut single, "Be the First to Believe", entered the UK Singles Chart at number six in mid-1999. They achieved chart success in the UK and other parts of the world in the late 1990s and early 2000s, particularly Southeast Asia. In the UK, they scored two number ones and six other top 10 hits, seven of which were written by the band. Adding to this, they also won a BRIT Award for "British Breakthrough Act" in 2001. They were managed by band manager Tim Byrne, who also formed Steps. Marazzi left the band in 2002, citing personal reasons. Annie Khalid
Noor-ul-Ain "Annie" Khalid ( Punjabi, ur, ) is a Pakistani-born British singer and model. She rose to fame in Pakistan in 2006, after releasing the single "Mahiya"; the song was used in the Indian film ''Awarapan'' (2007) and became the most-played Pakistani song of 2005, 2006 and 2007. Early life Khalid was born in Lahore on 27 March 1987, to a father of Kashmiri descent and a mother of Yemeni descent. When she was six months old, the family left Pakistan and moved to East London; several years later, they moved to Essex. VG-lista is a Norwegian record chart. It is presented weekly in the newspaper '' VG''. It is considered the primary Norwegian record chart, charting albums and singles from countries and continents around the world. The data are collected by Nielsen Soundscan International and are based on the sales in approximately 100 shops in Norway. The singles chart started as a top 10 chart in week 42 of 1958 and was expanded to a top 20 chart in week 5 of 1995, the same time the albums chart, which started as a top 20 chart in week 1 of 1967 was expanded to a top 40 chart. Mark Daniel Read (born in Worcester Park, London on 7 November 1978) is an English singer/songwriter, best known as member of the boy band A1 from 1998 to 2002, and 2009 to the present. Background Read grew up in a very musical family; his father Keith was in The Wild Angels, a rock 'n' roll band. His mother, Pam, played piano and drums as well as being a singer/songwriter. Read began playing piano at the age of two and eventually joined the family band on keyboards at the age of 11, where he would regularly perform in pubs, clubs and hotels across the country. He attended Auriol Junior School and then went on to Epsom and Ewell High School. At the age of 15, Read joined the Songtime Theatre Arts group, where he received training and gained experience in acting. Knut Anders Sørum (born 12 April 1976) is a Norwegian singer from Østre Toten. He represented Norway at Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul with the pop-ballad "High". He was also a vocalist and keyboard player for the Norway-based Christian extreme metal band Vardøger for many years (1994-2006, 2007, 2008–2018). The iTunes Store is a digital media store operated by Apple Inc. It opened on April 28, 2003, as a result of Steve Jobs' push to open a digital marketplace for music. ''The Big Reunion'' is a British reality-documentary series that began airing on ITV2 on 31 January 2013. The show featured chart-topping bands who were big in the UK pop music scene between the 1990s and early 2000s, and the programme followed them as they reunited for the first time in a decade and went through their two weeks of intensive rehearsals before finally stepping back on stage for a comeback performance.
