Redd is a Turkish rock band established in 1996 by tenor opera singer Doğan Duru and guitarist Berke Hatipoğlu under the name ''Ten''. They used to play at bars until they set up their own studio in 2004. Their first album, titled ''"50/50"'', produced by Levent Büyük, was published a year later by Stardium Müzik, already under the name ''Redd''. Buckman is a neighborhood in the Southeast section (and a small portion of the Northeast section) of Portland, Oregon. The neighborhood is bounded by the Willamette River on the west, E Burnside St. on the north (except for a triangle between NE 12th Ave. and NE 14th Ave. in which NE Sandy Blvd. forms the northern border), SE 28th Ave. on the east, and SE Hawthorne Blvd. on the south. Schools in the neighborhood include Buckman Arts Magnet Elementary School (part of Portland Public Schools) and Central Catholic High School. Kann is a Haitian restaurant by Gregory Gourdet in Portland, Oregon. Description The restaurant's name means "cane" or "sugarcane" in Haitian Creole. Downstairs is Sousòl, a pan-Caribbean cocktail bar. Kann Winter Village's menu included chicken soup with epis-rubbed thighs, potato dumplings, and root vegetables. History In 2019, Gourdet announced plans to open Kann in 2020. However, the COVID-19 pandemic forced delays. During the pandemic, Gourdet hosted pop-up restaurants, including Kann Winter Village, which was sponsored by American Express and operated within yurts in the Redd on Salmon Street parking lot.
