Recipe For Success
''Recipe for Success'' is a food reality television series that follows entrepreneurs who trade their jobs for following their dreams. On Food Network's Canadian station, it is broadcast on Sundays at 2:30 PM. It uses the same theme song as ''The Next Food Network Star''. It also covers a popular TV competition in which a couple take over a restaurant they do not own for two sittings on a day in a bid to win £1,000. They are given a team of professional staff who will work to the amateurs' menus. One amateur takes on the role of Head Chef, while the other takes on the role of Front of House Manager. On the final day of the week, whoever has made the most money wins the money already won during that week. ''Food Network Star'' is a reality television series that premiered June 5, 2005. It was produced by CBS Television Studios, CBS EYEtoo Productions for seasons 1–8 and by Triage Entertainment for subsequent seasons. It airs on the Food Network in the United States. Prior to season seven, the series was known as ''The Next Food Network Star''. Season One Summary The first season of ''The Next Food Network Star'' series was taped in February 2005, and was composed of five episodes in June 2005. Simon Peter Rimmer (born 5 May 1963) is an English celebrity chef, best known for his on-screen partnership with Tim Lovejoy. Early life Simon Peter Rimmer was born on 5 May 1963 in Wallasey. Career Rimmer originally studied fashion and textile design, and later taught himself to cook. In 1990, he bought Greens, a vegetarian restaurant in West Didsbury. He opened his second restaurant, Earle, in Hale in October 2006, though this was sold to a local restaurateur in 2016. In 2013, Rimmer served as a judge for British Sausage Week, helping to choose the winners and promote the event.
