Rebecca O'Mara
Rebecca O'Mara (born 15 March 1977) is an Irish actress. The Dublin born actress grew up by the sea in Sandycove and is the voice actor for Caitlin in the children's television series ''Thomas & Friends''. Early life O'Mara attended Holy Child Killiney before completing a degree in Drama and Theatre at Trinity College Dublin. On graduating, she moved to London and worked in film production for some years. In 2004, she began her acting training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Career She has also worked extensively in theatre in the UK and Ireland since graduating from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Sandycove
Sandycove () is a suburb of Dublin, Ireland. It is southeast of Dún Laoghaire and Glasthule, and northwest of Dalkey. It is a popular seaside resort and is well known for its bathing place, the Forty Foot, which in the past was reserved for men only but is now available for mixed bathing. The locale features in the opening of ''Ulysses'' by James Joyce. History On 20 December 1940, during World War II, the Luftwaffe bombed the railway station even though Ireland was a neutral country. There were three injuries. Transport Sandycove and Glasthule railway station opened on 11 October 1855. Sandycove is also serviced by Dublin Bus numbers 59 and 111, and lies close to Dún Laoghaire harbour. Culture The writer James Joyce lived for a week as a young man in the Martello Tower situated beside the Forty Foot bathing place at Sandycove. Theatre Royal, Bath
The Theatre Royal in Bath, England, was built in 1805. A Grade II* listed building, it has been described by the Theatres Trust as "One of the most important surviving examples of Georgian theatre architecture". It has a capacity for an audience of around 900. The Theatre Royal was built to replace the Old Orchard Street Theatre, funded by a Tontine and elaborately decorated. The architect was George Dance the Younger, with John Palmer carrying out much of the work. It opened with a performance of Shakespeare's Richard III and hosted performances by many leading actors of the time including Dorothea Jordan, William Macready and Edmund Kean. Phyllida Christian Lloyd, (born 17 June 1957) is an English film director and producer, best known for '' Mamma Mia!'' (2008) and '' The Iron Lady'' (2011).
