Rebecca Ewert
Una Rebecca Ewert (born 11 January 1955) is a former New Zealand diver. She represented her country at two Commonwealth games and she was the first New Zealand diver to attend an Olympics. Life Ewert was born in Auckland. At the age of 15 she was selected to dive from three metres at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970. Diving is the sport of jumping or falling into water from a platform or springboard, usually while performing acrobatics. Diving is an internationally recognized sport that is part of the Olympic Games. In addition, unstructured and non-competitive diving is a recreational pastime. 1970 British Commonwealth Games
The 1970 British Commonwealth Games (Scottish Gaelic: Geamannan a 'Cho-fhlaitheis Bhreatainn 1970) were held in Edinburgh, Scotland, from 16 to 25 July 1970. This was the first time the name British Commonwealth Games was adopted, the first time metric units rather than imperial units were used in all events, and also the first time the games were held in Scotland.
