Battle Of The Seasons
''Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Battle of the Seasons'' is the fifth season of the MTV reality game show, '' The Challenge'' (at the time known as ''Real World/Road Rules Challenge''). The season is directly subsequent to ''Extreme Challenge''. ''Battle of the Seasons'' premiered in early 2002 and took place in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In each episode, the cast competed in a challenge, and the top three ''Real World'' and top three ''Road Rules'' teams would become the "Inner Circle" and have the power to vote off teams. The "Inner Circle" was determined by a cumulative score that would be tallied on a leader board. The final six teams would compete for a final prize worth $300,000. This is the first edition of ''Battle of the Seasons'' series, with the second '' Battle of the Seasons'', following in 2012 with a completely different format. Eric Nies
Eric Nies (born May 23, 1971) is an American former model and reality television personality. He first gained fame as a cast member on MTV's '' The Real World: New York'', before going on to appear on that show's spinoffs and other reality shows, such as '' The Grind'' and ''Confessions of a Teen Idol''. Nies revealed on the 2000 special ''The Real World 10th Anniversary Special'' that three years into hosting ''The Grind'', a business manager stole a quarter million dollars from him, effectively leaving him destitute and ruining his career, after which he contemplated suicide and developed drug and alcohol addictions. Rebecca Blasband
Rebecca Blasband (born c. 1968) is an American singer-songwriter, screenwriter, and television personality known as a cast member on '' The Real World: New York'', the first season of MTV's reality television show ''The Real World''. Early life Rebecca Blasband was born and raised in New Hope, Pennsylvania, to a psychiatrist father and a German immigrant mother who runs an antique store in Philadelphia, to which her family moved to when Blasband was 13. She attended Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and worked as an actress with playwright David Mamet's theater company. Returning to music, she formed a band with Adam Schlesinger, the leader of Ivy, saying of the group's sound, "It was sort of Manchester-pop stuff. But after a while I started getting into Bob Dylan and things like that, and my direction kind of changed."

Down Under
The term ''Down Under'' is a colloquialism which is differently construed to refer to Australia and New Zealand or any South Pacific island country such as Fiji and Samoa.
