Eason Retail PLC, known as Easons or Eason, is an Irish retail company best known for selling books, stationery, cards, gifts, newspapers and magazines. Headquartered in Swords, County Dublin, it is the largest supplier of books, magazines and newspapers in Ireland. Eason employs approximately 600 people and is privately owned. Its turnover for the year ended January 2022 was €104 million. Eason has 54 stores which trade under the main brand in the Republic of Ireland. Eason also owns the Dubray Books brand and chain of 11 specialist bookstores, having acquired Dubray in 2020. Eason’s managing Director is Liam Hanly. ''Mothers & Daughters: a novel'' is the sixth novel in Canadian cartoonist Dave Sim's ''Cerebus'' comic book series. Sim considers the novel to be the final portion of the main story. It collects ''Cerebus'' #151–200 in four volumes, the seventh through tenth volumes of the paperback "phone book" collections of the series, titled ''Flight'', ''Women'', ''Reads'' and ''Minds''. After two quiet, character-focused novels ('' Jaka's Story'' and '' Melmoth'') in which the character Cerebus took a supporting role, Cerebus springs into action and takes centre stage in the series again. The novel is filled with climactic happenings, including the revelation of the identity of Suenteus Po, a sword battle between Cirin and Cerebus, and Cerebus having a long conversation with his creatorSim himself. The Reads
The Reads are an alternative rock band from North Wales and Chester, England. Their debut studio album, ''Stories from the Border'', was released in 2011. Their follow up album ''Lost at Sea'' was released in 2014. Their third album ''Crossfire'' was released on 3 April 2020 as the UK went into lockdown. The pandemic delayed the album launch party by 18 months. Their music has been played on BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Merseyside, XFM and Amazing Radio, amongst others. The track "Scarlet" featured on BBC 2's "Our Coast" in February, 2020. They list Doves, Elbow, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd, Boards of Canada, The Flaming Lips, The Beatles, The Bluetones, The Stone Roses, Aphex Twin, Spiritualized, Father John Misty, John Grant amongst their influences.
