Reach Out (S.E.S. Album)
''Reach Out'' is the debut Japanese album by South Korean girl group S.E.S., released under VAP on March 11, 1999. The album spawned three promotional singles. Background and promotion "めぐりあう世界" (''Meguriau Sekai'') was the first single from the album and the group's first Japanese single overall. It was released October 28, 1998, and sold approximately 14,000 copies, peaking at number 37 on the Oricon Singles Chart. The single's B-sides were "Believe in Love" and an instrumental version of the title track. Another single, officially called the "1.5" single, was released on December 10, 1998. It sold approximately 2,000 copies and contained the "Miami DJ Remix" of "Meguriau Sekai" and the "Jon Robinson Groove Mix" of "Believe in Love". Also included were remixes of two of S.E.S.' J-pop ( ja, ジェイポップ, ''jeipoppu''; often stylized as J-POP; an abbreviated form of "Japanese popular music"), natively also known simply as , is the name for a form of popular music that entered the musical mainstream of Japan in the 1990s. Dance music is music composed specifically to facilitate or accompany dancing. It can be either a whole musical piece or part of a larger musical arrangement. A girl group is a music act featuring several female singers who generally harmonize together. The Oricon Singles Chart is the Japanese music industry-standard singles popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Chart rankings are based on physical singles' sales. Until 2017, Oricon did not track download sales. In Japan, physical sales decreased sharply in the 2000s, while download sales hit three to four times the amount of single sales. In November 2017, Oricon introduced its first digital songs chart, separate from its main physical singles chart. In November 2018, Oricon launched a streaming chart, and introduced a combined singles chart that utilizes physical single sales, downloads, and streams. ''I'm Your Girl'' is the debut studio album by South Korean girl group S.E.S., released by SM Entertainment on November 1, 1997. It spawned two singles: "('Cause) I'm Your Girl", which was promoted shortly after the release of the album, and "Oh, My Love", which was released in March 1998. Commercially, ''I'm Your Girl'' sold approximately 650,000 copies. Release and promotion S.E.S. is one of South Korea's first generation K-pop idol groups. Bada (stylized as bada; Korean: ) is a discontinued mobile operating system developed by Samsung Electronics for devices such as mid- to high-end smartphones and tablet computers.
