Raymond Anthony Phillips is a Welsh drummer, best known as the original drummer for the rock band Budgie. He left the band in November 1973. Phillips formed his own band in the mid-1970s known as Ray Phillips Woman. When former Budgie guitarist Tony Bourge joined the band in the early 1980s, they became known as simply Woman. In 1982 he rejoined Bourge and formed Tredegar Tredegar (pronounced , ) is a town and community situated on the banks of the Sirhowy River in the county borough of Blaenau Gwent, in the southeast of Wales. Raymond Berry Phillips (born 23 May 1954) is an Australian cricketer who was born and raised in New South Wales and originally represented that state, but moved to Queensland in 1979 and played for that state for many years. He was selected for the 1985 Ashes squad but did not appear in any of the Test matches on the tour. Career Phillips made his club debut in 1971 aged 15. He toured Sri Lanka in 1971 with the Australian Schoolboys and played for NSW Colts for three years. His first job after school was working for Bert Oldfield. First Class Cricketer Phillips played three games for NSW but Steve Rixon was blocking his path so he moved to Queensland in 1979. Phillips scored his debut first class century in 1981–82. After Marsh retired in 1984, Phillips was considered a candidate for the keeping position for the tour of the West Indies. Raymond Phillips (judge)
Sir John Raymond Phillips MC (20 November 1915 – 2 August 1982) was a British barrister and judge. He was a High Court judge (Queen's Bench Division) from 1971 until his death, as well as the first President of the Employment Appeal Tribunal from 1976 to 1978. Life Philips was born outside of Cardiff, the oldest surviving son of David Rupert and Amy Isabel Phillips, of Radyr, Glamorgan. He was educated at Rugby School and Balliol College, Oxford ( MA, BCL). He was called to the Bar by Gray's Inn, where he was an Arden Scholar, in 1939, then joined the Wales and Chester Circuit. During the Second World War, he served in the Royal Artillery from 1940 to 1945, in the 3rd Medium Regiment. He was mentioned in despatches, and received the Military Cross in 1945. Phillips returned to the Bar in 1946, and specialized in revenue cases. The Nashville Teens are a British rock band, formed in Surrey in 1962. They are best known for their 1964 hit single "Tobacco Road", a top 10 UK hit and a top 20 hit in the United States.
