Ossie Clark
Raymond "Ossie" Clark (9 June 1942 – 6 August 1996) was a British fashion designer who was a major figure in the Swinging Sixties scene in London and the fashion industry in that era. Clark is now renowned for his vintage designs by present-day designers. Clark is compared to the 1960s fashion great Biba and influenced many other designers, including Yves Saint Laurent, Anna Sui and Tom Ford. Manolo Blahnik has said of Ossie Clark's work: "He created an incredible magic with the body and achieved what fashion should do—produce desire." Raymond Clark (engineer)
Raymond Clark (engineer) is a British engineer. He is best known for his leadership of the Society of Environmental Engineers where he served as chief executive for nearly two decades. Clark earned his BSc in engineering in 1964 from the University of Manchester and his BA in psychology in 1967. Starting in 2001, he served as the chief executive of the Society of Environmental Engineers. In 2010, Clark was elected to the Engineering Council where he represented the smaller licensed member institutions. Clark is a Chartered Engineer, a Chartered Environmentalist, and a Fellow of the Society of Environmental Engineers. In 2005, he was recognized as an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. In 2014, he was recognized as an honorary fellow of the Society for the Environment. Murder Of Annie Le
The murder of Annie Le occurred on September 8, 2009, while she was working in the New Haven, Connecticut campus of Yale University. Annie Marie Thu Le (July 3, 1985 – September 8, 2009) was a 24-year-old doctoral student at the Yale School of Medicine's Department of Pharmacology. She was last seen in a research building on the New Haven campus on September 8. On September 13, the day that she was to be married, she was found dead inside the building. On September 17, police arrested the perpetrator, Raymond J. Clark III, a Yale laboratory technician who worked in the building. Clark pleaded guilty to the murder on March 17, 2011. Clark was sentenced to 44 years imprisonment on June 3. The case generated frenetic media coverage. Yodelin' Slim Clark
Raymond LeRoy Clark (December 11, 1917 – July 5, 2000) known professionally as Yodelin' Slim Clark was an American musician known for his yodeling. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, United States, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Clark. Slim completed two years of high school, at which time he became a professional musician at the age of 15 in 1932 - however, he was performing at grange halls and fairs as early as 1930. In 1945, Slim began spending his summers in Maine, and in 1952 he became a resident there. Clark was first married to Mildred Towne from North Dana. They had two children, Lee and May. He was married to Celia Jo Roberson Clark in 1943. He had two children with Celia, Jewel LaVerne Clark and Wilf Carter Clark, both of whom have pursued careers in music, including yodeling. Ray Clarke (born 25 September 1952) is an English retired professional footballer who played in England for Tottenham Hotspur, Swindon Town, Mansfield Town, Brighton and Newcastle United, in the Netherlands for Sparta Rotterdam and Ajax Amsterdam, and in Belgium for Club Brugge.
