''Raw and Un-Kutt'' is the third studio album by Kansas City rapper Kutt Calhoun, released on June 8, 2010. The album debuted at #162 on the " ''Billboard'' 200" chart in its first week of release. "Naked (Boom Boom Room)" and "Get Kutt" from the album were released as singles. He became famous in the West Coast hip hop scene in the late 1980s, with lyrics often based on .... On May 26, 2010, XXL premiered the video for "Naked (Boom Boom Room)" on their website. The track "Same OG" was supposed to feature Bun B alongside BG Bulletwound. Bun B was unable to record his verse in time, so the song was cut from the album. Melvin Lewis Calhoun Jr. (born January 1, 1977), better known by his stage name Kutt Calhoun, is an American rapper and business executive from Kansas City, Missouri. After getting his start in the late 1990s underground rap scene of Kansas City, he subsequently signed to Strange Music when the label was founded in 1999. Calhoun released his debut album '' B.L.E.V.E.'' in 2004, and his 2007 sophomore album ''Feature Presentation'' debuted at number 60 on the ''Billboard'' Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Too Short
Todd Anthony Shaw (born April 28, 1966), better known by the stage name Too Short (stylized as Too $hort), is an American rapper and record producer. He became famous in the West Coast hip hop scene in the late 1980s, with lyrics often based on pimping and promiscuity, but also drug culture and street survival. This is respectively exemplified in his most popular songs "Blow the Whistle" and " The Ghetto". A pioneer of West Coast rap, Shaw began recording in 1983, cultivating a large following in his native Oakland. Samuel William Christopher Watson IV (born March 7, 1974), better known by his stage name Krizz Kaliko, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and voice actor. He is a longtime collaborator with fellow hometown native Tech N9ne and was signed to Strange Music from its inception in 1999 up to forming his own label Ear House Inc. in 2021. Career Krizz Kaliko began his musical career in the late 1990s when he began working with local producer IcyRoc Kraven. Another local rapper by the name of Tech N9ne was also collaborating with IcyRoc at the time, which led to the two rappers meeting. Bernard James Freeman (born March 19, 1973), known professionally as Bun B, is an American rapper. He is best known as one half of the southern rap duo UGK (UnderGround Kingz), a group he formed in 1987 alongside Pimp C. Aside from his work with UGK, Bun B has released five solo albums, including 2010's ''Trill OG'', which received the rare 5-mic rating from ''The Source''.
