Ravinder Singh (born 4 February 1982) is an Indian software engineer and author of nine novels — ''I Too Had a Love Story'', ''Can Love Happen Twice?'', ''Like it happened Yesterday'', ''Love Stories That Touched My Heart'', '' Tell Me A Story'', ''Your Dreams are Mine Now'', ''This Love That Feels Right'', ''Will You Still Love Me?'' and ''The Belated Bachelor Party''. He started his career as an IT professional in Infosys. His girlfriend died in 2007 before they got formally engaged. He adapted his own story into his first novel ''I Too Had a Love Story'' which was published in 2008. Writing the book helped him cope with the tragedy in his life. This novel was reviewed by N R Narayana Murthy, Chairman Emeritus of Infosys Technologies, who called it "Simple, honest and touching". Ravinder Singh (born 17 December 1991) is an Indian footballer who plays as a leftback for Mohun Bagan in the I-League. Career Early career Singh started his career at Air India FC in 2008 where he stayed till 2010. While with Air India Singh scored four goals. He scored his first goal for the club on 26 October 2008 against Dempo in which Air India lost 3–1. Singh scored his second goal for the club one year later on 8 October 2009 against Pune at the Balewadi Sports Complex. He then scored his third goal for the club on 22 January 2010 against Salgaocar and his fourth against JCT FC on 3 February 2010. After spending two seasons with Air India Singh then signed for East Bengal F.C. where he spent only one season at the club where he scored four goals. Ravinder Singh s/o Harchand Singh is a Singaporean former major-general who served as Chief of Army between 2011 and 2014. He has been serving as the chief operating officer of ST Engineering since 2021. Education Singh received the Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Training Award (Academic) in 1983. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) and a Master of Arts in engineering science from the University of Oxford in 1986 and 1992 respectively. He was awarded the Singapore Armed Forces Postgraduate Scholarship in 1995. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1996 with a Master of Science in management. Ravinder Singh Sangwan (born 3 September 1982, in Kharman, Haryana, India) is a Greco-Roman wrestler. Singh has won 15 national championships and gold medals in the 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011 Commonwealth Wrestling Championships. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games, he won a gold in the Men's Greco-Roman 60 kg wrestling category. At the 2010 Asian Games he won a bronze medal in the same category. Singh also competed in the 2013 World Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary where he reached the quarter finals. Ravinder Pal Singh (6 September 1960 – 8 May 2021) was an Indian field hockey player and former banker. He was well known as a prominent centre-half during his playing days from 1979 to 1984. He was part of the Indian hockey team that won the gold medal in 1980 Summer Olympics at Moscow where India defeated Spain 4-3 in the final.
