Raver Assembly Constituency
Raver Assembly constituency is one of the 288 Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly) constituencies of Maharashtra state in western India. This constituency is located in the Jalgaon district. Raver is part of the Raver Lok Sabha constituency along with five other Vidhan Sabha segments, namely Bhusawal, Chopda, Muktainagar and Jamner in Jalgaon district and Malkapur in adjoining Buldhana district. Haribhau Madhav Jawale (1 June 1953 – 16 June 2020) was a politician from northern Maharashtra belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party. He hailed from Jalgaon district in the Khandesh region of Maharashtra state. Political career Jawale was a member of the Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha from 1999-2004. He was elected to the 14th Lok Sabha in April, 2007 in a by-election from Jalgaon constituency in Maharashtra. He was re-elected to the 15th Lok Sabha from Raver constituency in Maharashtra. ''People's Party'') was a political party that was founded as an amalgam of Indian political parties opposed to the Emergency that was imposed between 1975 and 1977 by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi of the Indian National Congress.
