Rasmus Lund Pedersen (born 9 July 1998) is a Danish road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team . He competed at the 2019 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, winning a bronze medal. Track Cycling
Track cycling is a bicycle racing sport usually held on specially built banked tracks or velodromes using purpose-designed track bicycles. History Track cycling has been around since at least 1870. When track cycling was in its infancy, it was held on velodromes similar to the ones used today. These velodromes consisted of two straights and slightly banked turns, though they varied more in length and material than the modern 250m track. One appeal of indoor track racing was that spectators could be easily controlled, and hence an entrance fee could be charged, making track racing a lucrative sport. 2015 UCI Road World Championships – Men's Junior Road Race
The Men's junior road race of the 2015 UCI Road World Championships took place in and around Richmond, Virginia, United States on September 26, 2015. The course of the race was eight laps over a circuit making with the start and finish in Richmond. Austria's Felix Gall attacked with remaining and managed to stay clear at the head of the race to win the gold medal, holding off a fast-finishing Clément Bétouigt-Suire of France, in a two-up sprint finish. The UCI Road World Championships are the annual world championships for bicycle road racing organized by the (UCI). Road bicycle racing is the cycle sport discipline of road cycling, held primarily on Road surface, paved roads.
