Rapture's Delight
"Rapture's Delight" is the ninth episode of the sixth season of the American animated television series ''American Dad!''. It originally aired on Fox in the United States on December 13, 2009. This episode centers around Stan and Francine's life after the vast majority of the church, including Hayley and Steve, are raptured. When Stan begins to blame Francine for not getting into heaven, Francine ends their relationship and befriends a man whom she later finds out to be Jesus. Francine becomes his bride, leaving Stan behind to participate in the armageddon. This episode was written by Chris and Matt McKenna and directed by Joe Daniello. It is the third ''American Dad!'' Christmas special, following "The Best Christmas Story Never Told" and "The Most Adequate Christmas Ever". American Dad!
''American Dad!'' is an American animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker and Matt Weitzman for the Fox Broadcasting Company. Since 2014, the series has been airing new episodes on TBS. ''American Dad!'' is the first television series made to premiere on Fox's Animation Domination block. The series premiered on February 6, 2005, following Super Bowl XXXIX, with the rest of the first season airing three months later beginning May 1, 2005. Steve Smith (American Dad!)
Steven Anita "Steve" Smith is a fictional character in the animated series, animated television series ''American Dad!'', voiced by Scott Grimes. He is Stan Smith (American Dad!), Stan and Francine Smith's 14-year-old son and Hayley Smith (American Dad!), Hayley's younger brother as well as the youngest of the series' six main characters. Steve only has three human geeky friends that always stand by his side no matter what crazy scenario is going on. The Second Coming (sometimes called the Second Advent or the Parousia) is a Christian (as well as Islamic and Baha'i) belief that Jesus will return again after his ascension to heaven about two thousand years ago. Rapture
The rapture is an Christian eschatology, eschatological position held by some Christians, particularly those of American evangelicalism, consisting of an Eschatology, end-time event when all Christian believers who are alive, along with resurrected believers, will rise "in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air." Stanford Leonard Smith is a fictional character and the titular protagonist of the animated television series ''American Dad!''. The Most Adequate Christmas Ever
The fourth season of '' American Dad!'' was originally shown in the United States from September 30, 2007, to May 18, 2008. The season consisted of sixteen episodes. The first half of the season is included within the Volume Three DVD box set, which was released on April 15, 2008, and the second half is included within the Volume Four DVD box set, which was released on April 28, 2009. The fourth season consisted of one 2AJNxx holdover episode while the remaining episodes of the season were from 3AJNxx production line. This is the final season that composer Ron Jones worked for the score before leaving the show to work on the music for '' Family Guy'' until season 12. He was later replaced by Joel McNeely, who frequently collaborated with MacFarlane and worked on the series' musical score, along with Walter Murphy, ever since.
