Rangbaz (1973 Film)
''Rangbaz'' (English: The Gambat) ( bn, রংবাজ) is a 1973 Bangladeshi film starring Razzak, Kabori and Anwar Hossain opposite them. The song "Hoi Hoi Hoi Rongeela Re", by Bashir Ahmed became hit. The film introduced the idea of 'anti-hero' in Bangladeshi cinema. Razzaq played an angry youngman in the film. On 23 August 2017, the film was declared as one of the top 10 films of Razzaq by Kaler Kantho. It also stars Hashmat and Anwar Hossain. On his death in 2017, Channel I online labelled him as the first 'Rangbaz'of Bengali cinema. Sarah Begum Kabori (also Kabori Sarwar; born Mina Pal, 19 July 1950 – 17 April 2021) was a Bangladeshi film actress and politician. Her notable films include ''Sutorang'', ''Sareng Bou'', ''Abhirbhab'', ''Shat Bhai Champa'', ''Sujon Sokhi'' and ''Lalon Fokir''. She received the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the film ''Sareng Bou'' (1978) and Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013. Kabori got involved into politics later in her life. She became an elected member of parliament from the Narayanganj-4 constituency as an Awami League politician in 2008 and served until 2014. Abdur Razzak (actor)
Abdur Razzak (23 January 1942 – 21 August 2017) (known as Razzak) was a Bangladeshi actor and film director. He was dubbed Nayak Raj Razzak (King of Heroes), a term introduced by Ahmed Zaman Chowdhury, editor of the magazine ''Chitrali''. Razzak won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor five times for his roles in the films '' Ki Je Kori'' (1976), ''Ashikkhito'' (1978), ''Boro Bhalo Lok Chhilo'' (1982), ''Chandranath'' (1984) and ''Jogajog'' (1988). He was awarded the Independence Day Award in 2015 by the Government of Bangladesh. He acted in more than 300 Bengali and Urdu films and also directed 16 films. Anwar Hossain (6 December 1931 – 13 September 2013) was a Bangladeshi actor, best known for playing the role of Siraj ud-Daulah in the Bengali film Nawab Sirajuddaula (1967). He appeared in nearly 500 movies in his 50-year career. He received the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in the film ''Lathial'' (1975) and Best Supporting Actor awards for the films again for ''Golapi Ekhon Traine'' (1978) and ''Dayi Ke?'' Bashir Ahmad (singer)
Bashir Ahmed (11 November 1939 – 19 April 2014) was a Bangladeshi playback singer who started his career from Pakistan film industry. Born in Kolkata, West Bengal, he migrated to Dhaka, East Bengal after the Partition period in 1960 and started his singing career. He is known as ''East Pakistan's Ahmed Rushdi'' because his singing style is inspired by Ahmed Rushdi. Sabina Yasmin (born 4 September 1953) is a Bangladeshi singer. She is best known as a playback singer in Bengali cinema.
