Randall Made Knives, usually referred to as Randall, is an American custom handcrafted knife manufacturer founded by Walter Doane "Bo" Randall, Jr. in the U.S. The knife making shop and showroom is located in Orlando, Florida. His son and grandson continue the family trade along with 20 craftsmen producing about 8,000 knives per year out of a shop on South Orange Blossom Trail. Randall is a city in Morrison County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 607 at the 2020 census. History Randall was platted in 1890 and named for John H. Randall, a railroad official. A post office has been in operation at Randall since 1889. Randall was incorporated in 1900. The Great Flood of 1972 In the Great Flash Flood of July 21–22, 1972, the Little Elk River overflowed its banks, flooding downtown Randall and making the area impassable to vehicle traffic for several weeks. Local citizens reported that Randall received over of rain in a single day during the deluge. Official precipitation data for the town do not exist, but the National Weather Service station in nearby Fort Ripley received of rain in 24 hours during the flood, the second-biggest one-day rainfall ever recorded in Minnesota (15.10 inches was officially recorded in Hokah, in southeast Minnesota, on August 18, 2007). The county was created in 1876 and later organized in 1889. It is named for Horace Randal, a Confederate brigadier general killed at the Battle of Jenkins Ferry. Randall Junior High School is a historic building at 65 I Street, Southwest, Washington, D.C. History The school opened in 1906 as Cardozo Elementary School and expanded to its size in 1927 in the process of becoming Randall Junior High School.
