''Rammstein in Amerika'' is a live concert video album by German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein. It documents the sold-out show the band played at Madison Square Garden in New York City on 11 December 2010. Most of the footage was recorded at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada on 9 December 2010. It also contains two documentaries, regarding the band's history with the United States, and the making of the album ''Liebe ist für alle da ''Liebe ist für alle da'' (, "Love is there for everyone"), often abbreviated to LIFAD, is the sixth studio album by German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein. Rammstein
Rammstein (, "ramming stone") is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in Berlin in 1994. The band's lineup—consisting of lead vocalist Till Lindemann, lead guitarist Richard Kruspe, rhythm guitarist Paul Landers, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christoph Schneider, and keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz—has remained unchanged throughout their history, along with their approach to songwriting, which consists of Lindemann writing and singing the lyrics over instrumental pieces the rest of the band has completed beforehand. Prior to their formation, some members were associated with the punk rock acts Feeling B and First Arsch. After winning a local contest, Rammstein was able to record demos and send them to different record labels, eventually signing with Motor Music. "Engel" (German for "Angel" or "Angels") is a song by German industrial metal band Rammstein. It was released in April 1997 as the first single from their second album, ''Sehnsucht''. The female part of song's chorus is sung by Christiane "Bobo" Hebold of the German pop band Bobo in White Wooden Houses. An English version of "Engel" can be found on US special editions of ''Sehnsucht''. According to an interview, keyboardist Christian Lorenz came up with the main riff for this song on a synthesizer along with a whistle melody. "Ich will" (German for "I Want") is a song by German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein from their third studio album '' Mutter''. It was originally released in Germany on 10 September 2001, but many channels did not air the music video (which was to debut on U.S. television the next evening) as it was released the day before the September 11 attacks. The German single contains a live cover of the Ramones song "Pet Sematary" sung by Rammstein keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz. Music video The music video of "Ich will" features the band members staging a bank robbery, making it seem as realistic as possible. The video shows both the robbery and its aftermath, and moves between these two scenes. "Haifisch" (German: "Shark") is a song by German band Rammstein. It was released on 28 May 2010, as the third single from their 2009 album ''Liebe ist für alle da''. Just before announcing the premiere of the song's video, Rammstein's website left this quote regarding the song: "the shark not only has teeth – he's got tears as well. But since it lives in the briny deep, no one sees them. A shame. After all, this cartilaginous fish is one of the oldest of the world's many misunderstood creatures. A bit more sympathy couldn't hurt!" The chorus to the song is an allusion to the lyrics of "Mack the Knife", a song written by Berthold Brecht for his play ''The Threepenny Opera''. "Sonne" (German for "Sun") is a song by German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein. It was released in February 2001, as the first single from their album '' Mutter''. According to Till Lindemann, the song was originally written as an entrance song for the boxer Vitali Klitschko, whose surname was also the working title of the song. "Benzin" (German, in English: Gasoline or Petrol) is a song by German industrial metal band Rammstein, released as the first single from their album ''Rosenrot''. In Germany, gasoline is called ''Benzin'' (which is derived from the chemical mixture benzine). The song uses the word "Gasolin", however the word does not exist in the German language, but it is an English word made German. There was, however, a German chain of gas stations called "Gasolin." "Du riechst so gut" (, "you smell so good") is a song by German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein. It was released the band's first single on 24 August 1995, also acting as the lead single from their debut studio album, ''Herzeleid'' (1995). The song describes the inner thoughts of a predator hunting his prey. The title is said to be inspired by Patrick Süskind's ''Perfume'', a favourite novel of Till Lindemann's, the band's lead singer. The single was re-released in 1998 under the name "Du riechst so gut '98", featuring a different edit of the song and a new music video.
