Ram Chandra Ram
Ram Chandra Ram (died 2 March 2009, Ranchi) was an Indian politician, affiliated to the Communist Party of India (CPI). History Ram made his electoral debut in the Simaria Legislative Assembly constituency in the 1990 Bihar Legislative Assembly election. He finished in second place with 18,832 votes (30.04% of the vote). In the 1995 Bihar Legislative Assembly election, Ram finished in second place in Simaria with 19,271 votes (24.36%). Ram contested the 2000 Bihar Legislative Assembly election. He finished in third place in Simaria with 11,532 votes (24.11%). Ram contested the 2005 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election (the state of Jharkhand had been carved out of Bihar by this time). He finished in second place in Simaria with 24,438 votes (23.2%). Ranchi
Ranchi (, ) is the capital of the Indian state of Jharkhand. Ranchi was the centre of the Jharkhand movement, which called for a separate state for the tribal regions of South Bihar, northern Odisha, western West Bengal and the eastern area of what is present-day Chhattisgarh. The Jharkhand state was formed on 15 November 2000 by carving out the Bihar divisions of Chota Nagpur and Santhal Parganas. Ranchi has been selected as one of the hundred Indian cities to be developed as a smart city under PM Narendra Modi's flagship Smart Cities Mission. On 4 February 2008 a by-election was held in for the Simaria ( SC) seat of the Legislative Assembly of the Indian state of Jharkhand. Lalu Prasad Yadav (born 11 June 1948) is an Indian politician and president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). He is a former Chief Minister of Bihar (1990-1997), a former Railway Minister of India (2004-2009), and a former Member of Parliament (MP) of the Lok Sabha. He entered politics at Patna University as a student leader and in 1977 at the age of 29, was elected as the youngest member of the Lok Sabha for the Janata Party. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha ( lit. ''Jharkhand Liberation Front''; JMM) is a State political party in the Indian state of Jharkhand which was founded by Binod Bihari Mahato. The Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD; translation: ''National People's Party'') is an Indian political party, based in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Kerala. Jharkhand (; ; ) is a state in eastern India. The state shares its border with the states of West Bengal to the east, Chhattisgarh to the west, Uttar Pradesh to the northwest, Bihar to the north and Odisha to the south. It has an area of . 2005 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly Election
The 2005 Jharkhand Legislative Assembly election was held in three phases from 3 to 23 February 2005 to elect the 81 members of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. It was the first election held in Jharkhand to elect the Second Jharkhand Legislative Assembly; the First/Interim Jharkhand Legislative Assembly was constituted based on the 2000 Bihar Legislative Assembly election.
