Raja De Beni Mellal
Raja Beni Mellal is a Moroccan football club currently playing in the second division Botola 2. The club was founded in 1956 and is located in the town of Beni Mellal. History Raja Beni Mellal was founded in 1956 by Monsieur Abdellatif Mesfioui after the alliance of a set of clubs of the city of Beni Mellal they included the Ittihad Al Mellali et La Mouloudia. Abdellatif Mesfioui was the first president of the club following the merger between the Ittihad and Mouloudia. The club businesses still have the final of the Champions Cup Maghreb against Club Africain. Best Presidents of the club's history to date were Lhaj Jilali Lasri (1973-1974 and 1974–1975) and his son Lhaj Abdelwahed Lasri (2010-2011 and 2011–2012) where during their activity there have been the best four seasons in the history of Raja Beni Mellal. Botola 2
Botola Pro 2, commonly known as Botola 2 (formerly known before as the ''Groupement National de Football 2''), is the second division of the Moroccan football league, behind the Botola, the highest football league in Morocco. It features 16 teams across the country that compete for the top two positions in the competition which at the end of the season allows them promotion to the Botola. Beni Mellal
Beni Mellal ( ar, بني ملال}, ber, ⴰⵢⵜ ⵎⵍⵍⴰⵍ, Ayt Mellal) is a city in north-central Morocco. It is the capital of the Béni Mellal-Khénifra Region and has a population of 192,676 (2014 census). It sits at the foot of Jbel Tassemit (2247 m), and next to the plains of Beni Amir. The walls of the city go back to Moulay Ismail, in 1688, as well as the Kasbah Bel-Kush but most of the city is quite modern and forms an important economic centre for the region particularly in the areas of petrochemical production as well as textile manufacturing which forms the backbone of the wider community. Local agricultural products as oranges, olives, figs etc. find their way to the market via Beni Mellal. The city has good connections via the road to Casablanca to the East and lies on the ancient route - now a national road - from Fez to Marrakech. Club Africain ( ar, النادي الإفريقي) is a Tunisian football club based in Tunis that competes in the Tunisian Championship. It fields several sports teams, including football, handball, basketball, swimming and volleyball. The Maghreb Champions Cup was a North African football competition organized by the Union Maghrebine de Football (UMF) and which regrouped the winners of the leagues from Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia and Libya (only in the first edition). Botola
The Botola Pro ( ar, البطولة الاحترافية, translit=al-buṭūla l-iḥtirāfiyya), is a Moroccan professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Moroccan football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Botola 2. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 30 matches each (playing each team in the league twice, home and away) totaling 240 matches in the season.
