'' Rail'' is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Bhaskar Sakthi. The film stars Kungumaraj Muthusamy, Parvaiz Mahroo, Vairamala and Ramesh Vaidya. The film was produced by M. Vediyappan under the banner of Discovery Cinemas, and had a theatrical release on 21 June 2024. Theni Eswar
Eswaran Ramar, known by his screen name Theni Eswar, is an Indian cinematographer who works mainly in Tamil cinema and Malayalam cinema. Early life Eswar grew up in Theni completing his schooling and he graduated in diploma in automobile engineering. In his college days he took up photography, which led to a career. He went on to receive a Kodak Award for street photography. He spent most of his early life in Theni before moving to Chennai. Film career Eswar moved to Chennai to start his career as a cinematographer. He also shot the photographs for Vairamuthu novels including kallikattu ithigasam, Karuvaachi kaaviyam, and Tamizhatrupadai. During his search for a job as an assistant cinematographer he collaborated with Baskar Sakthi, a writer in Ananda Vikatan who was at that time writing a series called " Route Bus" and was given the role of photographing the scenic routes of travel, places and the locals. Nagooran Ramachandran
Nagooran Ramachandran is an Indian film editor who works predominantly in the Tamil film industry. Career Nagooran's interest in editing began with his fascination for computers and media players. Nagooran completed an editing course in a Tamilnadu Government M.G.R Film and Television institute taramani and started doing small editing jobs, including one at Raaj Kamal Films International where he worked on behind-the-scenes video editing of '' Vishwaroopam'' (2013) and '' Vishwaroopam II'' (2018). Nagooran debuted as an editor in director Sri Ganesh's film '' 8 Thottakkal'' (2017) and later worked on ''Rocky'' (2021), which faced difficulties releasing because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thirrupathi Brothers is an Indian Tamil film production company owned by brothers N. Subash Chandrabose and N. Lingusamy and was founded in 2006. History The first venture of Thirrupathi Brothers was ''Deepavali'', directed by Ezhil with Jayam Ravi and Bhavana in lead roles. It was a moderate success. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) is a statutory film-certification body in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India. It is tasked with "regulating the public exhibition of films under the provisions of the Cinematograph Act 1952." The Cinematograph Act 1952 outlines a strict certification process for commercial films shown in public venues. Films screened in cinemas and on television may only be publicly exhibited in India after certification by the board and edited.
