Rafael Alcântara do Nascimento (born 12 February 1993), commonly known as Rafinha (), is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a attacking midfielder for Qatar Stars League club Al-Arabi. He started his career with Barcelona, making his debut with the first team in 2011. After a loan at Celta, he played his first La Liga match for the former club in 2014. In October 2020, he signed with Paris Saint-Germain. Rafinha represented both Spain and Brazil at youth level, before debuting with the latter as a senior in 2015. Brazil National Under-23 Football Team
The Brazil Olympic football team (also known as Brazil under-23, Brazil U23) represents Brazil in international football competitions during Olympic Games and Pan American Games. The selection is limited to players under the age of 23, except three overage players. The team is controlled by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game.
