Radford University is a public university in Radford, Virginia. It is one of the state's eight doctorate-granting public universities. Doug Day, Jr. (born January 29, 1972) is an American former basketball player and current high school coach. Playing career At , Day played the shooting guard position for Radford University between 1989–90 and 1992–93. He was a prolific three-point field goal shooter; at the time of his graduation, his 401 made three-pointers were the most in NCAA Division I history. Day led the nation in threes made per game as a junior when he connected for 4.03 per contest. That season, he led the Highlanders to their first Big South Conference men's basketball regular season championship; it was also the second of back-to-back 20-win seasons. Steve Arnette Robinson (born October 29, 1957) is an American college basketball coach. He is an assistant men's basketball coach at the University of Arizona. Robinson served as the head men's basketball coach at the University of Tulsa from 1995 to 1997 and Florida State University from 1997 to 2002. He was an assistant to Roy Williams for 26 years, including two stints at the University of Kansas (1988–1995 and 2002–2003), and at North Carolina following Williams's move from Kansas in 2003. The 2023 College Basketball Invitational (CBI) was a single-elimination, fully- bracketed men's college basketball postseason tournament featuring 16 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I teams not selected to participate in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament or the National Invitation Tournament (NIT).
