"Racing in the Street" is a song by Bruce Springsteen from his 1978 album ''Darkness on the Edge of Town''. In the original vinyl format, it was the last song of side one of the album. The song has been called Springsteen's best song by several commentators, including the authors of ''The New Rolling Stone Album Guide''. History Springsteen started writing "Racing in the Street", shortly after the New Year's Eve 1975 show at the Tower Theatre, Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, along with "Darkness on the Edge of Town" and "The Promise". However, due to legal proceedings with his former manager, recording sessions for his fourth album did not begin until June 1, 1977. According to a song list from May 1977, included in the notebook provided with ''The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story'' box set, it was one of the "new songs" for his next album. Tupelo Honey (Van Morrison Song)
"Tupelo Honey" is a popular song written by Northern Ireland, Northern Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison and the title song from his 1971 album, ''Tupelo Honey''. The title derives from an expensive, mild-tasting tupelo honey produced in the American South, southeastern United States. Released as a single in 1972, it reached number 47 on the U.S. pop chart. The melody, which has a catchy, soulful feel to it, was borrowed from Morrison's song "Crazy Love (Van Morrison song), Crazy Love", released the previous year. Sir George Ivan Morrison (born 31 August 1945), known professionally as Van Morrison, is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose recording career spans seven decades. He has won two Grammy Awards. Jan and Dean was an American rock music, rock duo consisting of William Jan Berry (April 3, 1941 – March 26, 2004) and Dean Ormsby Torrence (born March 10, 1940). "Don't Worry Baby" is a song by American rock band the Beach Boys from their March 1964 album ''Shut Down Volume 2''. Written by Brian Wilson and Roger Christian, Wilson's lead vocal on the track is considered one of his defining performances, and he later referred to "Don't Worry Baby" as perhaps the Beach Boys' finest record. It was issued in May 1964 as the B-side of " I Get Around", and charted separately at number 24. Deriving from Wilson's obsession with the Ronettes' 1963 hit "Be My Baby", "Don't Worry Baby" has a similar musical structure, but different subject matter and production approach.
