Rabies (2010 Film)
''Rabies'' ( he, כלבת, ''Kalevet'') is a 2010 Israeli film written and directed by Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado. It was marketed as "the first feature-length Israeli horror film". Plot A brother and sister are on the run, determined to keep their incestuous relationship a secret. While hiding deep in a forest, among many traps and landmines, the siblings are not alone: the park ranger, his wife and dog; four friends on their way to have a game of tennis; two police officers; and a serial killer. Aharon Keshales
Aharon Keshales ( he, אהרון קשלס; born 16 April 1976) is an Israeli film director, screenwriter, and film critic. Biography Keshales was born in Jaffa, Israel, to a Sephardic Jewish family. He grew up in Bat Yam, Israel. He served as a soldier in the Intelligence Corps (Israel), Intelligence Corps of the Israel Defense Forces. Then studied at the Tel Aviv University's film school, where he later became a lecturer until completing his graduate degree in the interdisciplinary program at the Faculty of Arts. At the same time, Keshales worked as film critic for Ynet, ''Globes (newspaper), Globes'', and ''Maariv (newspaper), Rating Magazine''; and also created the film blog "Piranha Karina". Career In 2010, his directorial debut film, ''Rabies (2010 film), Rabies'' (''Kalevet'') was released, a film which he co-wrote and co-directed with Navot Papushado. Efrat ( he, אֶפְרָת), or previously officially Efrata ( he, אֶפְרָתָה), is an Israeli settlement in the West Bank, established in 1983 in the Judean Mountains.
