Rwanda
Rwanda (; rw, u Rwanda ), officially the Republic of Rwanda, is a landlocked country in the Great Rift Valley of Central Africa, where the African Great Lakes region and Southeast Africa converge. Located a few degrees south of the Equator, Rwanda is bordered by Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is highly elevated, giving it the soubriquet "land of a thousand hills", with its geography dominated by mountains in the west and savanna to the southeast, with numerous lakes throughout the country. The climate is temperate to subtropical, with two rainy seasons and two dry seasons each year. RW Ursae Minoris
RW Ursae Minoris (Nova Ursae Minoris 1956) is a cataclysmic variable star system that flared up as a nova in the constellation Ursa Minor in 1956. Although the nova eruption of RW UMi occurred in 1956, it was not noticed until nearly six years later when, in 1962, V. Satyvaldiev found it on sky-patrol plates of the Astrophysical Institute of the Tajik Academy of Sciences in Dushanbe. On 24 September 1956 it had an apparent magnitude of 6. It may have been as bright as magnitude 3.5 around 19 September 1956, which would have made it easily visible to the naked eye, but the full moon on 20 September 1956 would have hampered observations around that date. RW Ursae Minoris's pre-nova brightness was about magnitude 21, but early in the 21st century it was still two magnitudes brighter than that. RW Cephei
RW Cephei is a hypergiant variable star in the constellation Cepheus (constellation), Cepheus, at the edge of the Sharpless 132 HII region and close to the small open cluster Berkeley 94. One of the List of largest known stars, largest stars known, RW Cephei's radius is more than 1,000 times that of the Sun (), thus larger than the orbit of Jupiter. RW Cephei is also a semi-regular variable star of type Semiregular variable, SRd, meaning that it is a slowly varying yellow giant or supergiant. The visual magnitude range is from 6.0 to 7.6, while the photographic range is from 8.6 - 10.7. The General Catalogue of Variable Stars gives a period of approximately 346 days, but other studies suggest different periods and certainly no strong periodicity. RW Cygni is a semiregular variable star in the constellation Cygnus, about a degree east of 2nd magnitude γ Cygni. Reaction Wheel
A reaction wheel (RW) is used primarily by spacecraft for three-axis attitude control, and does not require rockets or external applicators of torque. They provide a high pointing accuracy, and are particularly useful when the spacecraft must be rotated by very small amounts, such as keeping a telescope pointed at a star. A reaction wheel is sometimes operated as (and referred to as) a momentum wheel, by operating it at a constant (or near-constant) rotation speed, to provide a satellite with a large amount of stored angular momentum. Doing so alters the spacecraft's rotational dynamics so that disturbance torques perpendicular to one axis of the satellite (the axis parallel to the wheel's spin axis) do not result directly in spacecraft angular motion about the same axis as the disturbance torque; instead, they result in (generally smaller) angular motion (precession) of that spacecraft axis about a perpendicular axis.
