Founded in 1973 as Unió Esportiva Bellvitge, it changed its name to the current one in 1984. The club has won the Spanish women's rugby championship three times. History The club was founded in 1973. Home ground RC L'Hospitalet plays its games at the Municipal Rugby Field, which is part of the Feixa Llarga sports complex, in Bellvitge, a complex where there are also other facilities such as the Municipal Football Stadium or the Municipal Baseball Field. L'Hospitalet de Llobregat (; es, Hospitalet de Llobregat), often shortened to L'Hospitalet or just L'H, is a municipality of Spain, located to the immediate southwest of Barcelona, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. The División de Honor de Rugby is Spain's top level professional men's rugby union competition. The División de Honor de Rugby Championship is organised by the Federación Española de Rugby ( Spanish Rugby Federation) and currently consists of 12 teams. The last-placed team in the competition is relegated at the end of the season to the División de Honor B, Spain`s second level of men's rugby union. The team finishing 11th enters a relegation/promotion playoff with the runner-up from the Division de Honor B playoffs.
