R300 Road (South Africa)
The R300 or Kuils River Freeway (also Cape Flats Freeway) is a Regional Route in the Cape Metropole, South Africa that connects Mitchells Plain with the N2, Kuils River, and the N1 at Bellville. The R300 is a freeway for its entire length; it forms part of the proposed Peninsula Expressway. Route The R300 begins at the Stellenberg Interchange with the N1 between Bellville and Brackenfell and heads south bordering between both towns. It eventually borders between Bellville and Kuils River and borders between Delft and Blue Downs before intersecting with the N2 (Settlers Way) north of Mitchells Plain and Philippi. It then turns in a south-westerly direction between Mitchells Plain and Phillipi and ending at the intersection with the M7 (Jakes Gerwel Drive) in Mitchells Plain. Peninsula Expressway (Cape Town)
The N21 is a proposed national route in the City of Cape Town, South Africa. It is also known as Peninsula Expressway ring road. Once complete, it will link the northern suburbs on the Atlantic seaboard (Melkbosstrand & Bloubergstrand) with the southern suburbs on False Bay (Muizenberg). The R300 Freeway is entirely part of the proposed route (the freeway will be extended at both ends). Melkbosstrand
Melkbosstrand (Afrikaans for " Milkbush beach") is a coastal town located on the South West Coast of South Africa, 30 km north of Cape Town. It forms part of the City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality, the municipality governing Cape Town and its greater metropolitan area. Named after the species of Euphorbiaceae bushes which grow on the dunes and give off a milky latex like substance, it is commonly referred to simply as Melkbos. The town and its 7 kilometre stretch of white sand beach is situated on the Atlantic coast with the Blouberg mountain to the east. The beach is popular with surfers. R101 (South Africa)
The R101 is a Regional Route in South Africa that is the designation for some of the old sections of roads that were previously the N1, prior to upgrading. It only has 2 sections, from Bellville to Worcester and from Johannesburg to Polokwane. Western Cape The R101 starts in Bellville at the R102 running to the east parallel to the newer N1 freeway and is named 'Old Paarl Road'. It then goes through Brackenfell before entering Kraaifontein as 'Voortrekker Road'. At the intersection with Maroela Road in Kraaifontein East it is renamed 'Old Paarl Road' before entering the Cape Winelands. In the Cape Winelands it goes through Klapmuts and then enters Paarl. South of Paarl, the R101 is joined by the R45 to be co-signed for 6 kilometres northwards, crossing the N1 freeway, before separating from the R45 and turning right in Paarl Central Business District (CBD). The R102 is a Regional Route in South Africa. It is the route designation for all old sections of the N2, thus it is a discontinuous road that resumes in areas where a new N2 has been constructed. Route Western Cape and Eastern Cape In the Cape Town area, the R102 starts in the Central Business District and runs through Woodstock, Maitland, Goodwood and Parow before it reaches Bellville. From Bellville, it turns in a southeasterly direction and goes on the outskirts of the city through Kuils River, Eerste River and onwards to Somerset West where it merges with the existing N2. At Mossel Bay it divides to the east again, passing through all the towns between there and George. The M12 is a long metropolitan route in the City of Cape Town, South Africa. It connects Burgundy Estate with Stellenbosch via Parow, Elsie's River and Kuils River. Route The M12 begins at a junction with the M13 in the Burgundy Estate in Milnerton, north of Cape Town.
