R.C.S. La Forestoise
Royal Cercle Sportif La Forestoise was a Belgian football club from the municipality of Forest, Brussels. It was founded in 1909 and received the matricule n°51 following its registration to the FA in 1911. The club first reached the first division in 1926 but it was yet too weak to survive at that level and was back in the second division for the next season. The best years of the club were the 1940s since it played 4 seasons at the top level (1942 to 1947, missing the 1944–45 season due to World War II). The Green and White achieved their best ranking in 1944 with a 10th position. In 1996 it merged with Royal Uccle Léopold F.C. to become Royal Léopold Uccle Forestoise and the matricule n°51 was consequently erased. Flor Lambrechts
Florent "Flor" Jan Maria Lambrechts (25 March 1910 – 14 April 1990) was a Belgian footballer who played as a forward and midfielder. He played in the First Division for several seasons with Antwerp FC and RCS La Forestoise. With Antwerp, Lambrechts won the 1929 and 1931 Belgian First Divisions. He also achieved second place with the team in the 1929–30, 1931–32 and 1932–33 seasons. He was the Belgian top scorer of the 1935–36 season, in which he also achieved the record of scoring 7 goals in a single First Division game. After troubles inside the club, he had to move out of Antwerp to RCS La Forestoise in 1937. Raymond Braine
Raymond Ernest Michel Braine (28 April 1907 – 24 December 1978) was a Belgian football striker. He was also the first Belgian professional player, when he obtained a transfer to Sparta Prague in 1930. Braine played in 54 matches for the Belgium national football team and scored 26 times, making him Belgium's 5th top all-time scorer. Career highlights His first club was Beerschot in Antwerp. Braine made his Belgian Championship debut on 11 February 1923 against Daring Club de Bruxelles (lost 3-0). He scored 4 times in 4 appearances that season and Beerschot finished second. Raymond's brother, Pierre, was also part of the team. The next year, Braine obtained his first trophy by earning a Championship title. Three more titles followed in 1925, 1926 and 1928. A football team is a group of players selected to play together in the various team sports known as football. Belgian Second Division
The Belgian Second Division (known as the Proximus League for sponsorship reasons) was the second-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian Pro League. It was founded by the Royal Belgian Football Association in 1909 and folded in 2016, when it was replaced by the Belgian First Division B. History The second division was created in 1909 and was known as the Promotion nl, bevordering at the time. From 1923 on there were two leagues in that division (called Promotion A and Promotion B).
