Québec Capitales
The Québec Capitales ( French: ''Les Capitales de Québec'') are a professional baseball team based in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The Capitales have been members of the Frontier League since the 2020 season after a merger between the Can-Am League and the Frontier League in October 2019. Since the 1999 season, the Capitales have played their home games at Stade Canac. The team was established in 1999 as a member of the independent Northern League. Their mascot is Capi the Lion. The Québec Athletics played in the Québec Provincial League during the 1940 season, and in the Canadian-American League from 1941 to 1942. The New York Boulders are an American independent professional baseball team playing in the Frontier League based in Pomona, Rockland County, New York. The team was founded as a member of the Can-Am League, beginning play in the 2011 season as the Rockland Boulders. The Boulders and the rest of the teams in the Can-Am League (except for the Ottawa Champions, who were not invited) were absorbed into the Frontier League when the two leagues merged following the 2019 season. The "Boulders" name refers to Rockland County's plethora of boulders in its landscape. The team's primary color, blue, alludes to the former Brooklyn Dodgers (now Los Angeles Dodgers), which used Bear Mountain State Park for spring training during World War II. Stade Quillorama (formerly known as Stade Fernand-Bédard and Stade Stereo+) is a stadium in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada. It is primarily used for baseball and is the home of the Trois-Rivières Aigles of the Frontier League. The Trois-Rivières Aigles (French: ''Aigles de Trois-Rivières'') are a Canadian professional baseball team based in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. They are members of the Frontier League, and play their home games at Stade Quillorama. The Aigles are named to honour the previous Trois-Rivières Aigles, which called the same ballpark home from 1971 until 1977 as a member of the Eastern League as an affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. The Worcester Tornadoes were a professional baseball team based in Worcester, Massachusetts, in the United States. The Tornadoes were a member of the Canadian-American Association of Professional Baseball, an independent baseball league which was not affiliated with Major League Baseball.
