Resignation
Resignation is the formal act of leaving or quitting one's office or position. A resignation can occur when a person holding a position gained by election or appointment steps down, but leaving a position upon the expiration of a term, or choosing not to seek an additional term, is not considered resignation. When an employee chooses to leave a position, it is considered a resignation, as opposed to involuntary termination. Whether an employee resigned or was terminated is sometimes a topic of dispute, because in many situations, a terminated employee is eligible for severance pay and/or unemployment benefits, whereas one who voluntarily resigns may not be eligible. Abdication is the equivalent of resignation for a reigning monarch, pope, or holder of another similar position. Political examples A resignation is a personal decision to exit a position, though outside pressure exists in many cases. For example, Richard Nixon resigned from the office of President of the United ...

Eminem
Marshall Bruce Mathers III (born October 17, 1972), known professionally as Eminem (; often stylized as EMINƎM), is an American rapper and record producer. He is credited with popularizing hip hop in middle America and is critically acclaimed as one of the greatest rappers of all time. Eminem's global success and acclaimed works are widely regarded as having broken racial barriers for the acceptance of white rappers in popular music. While much of his transgressive work during the late 1990s and early 2000s made him widely controversial, he came to be a representation of popular angst of the American underclass and has been cited as an influence for many artists of various genres. After the release of his debut album ''Infinite'' (1996) and the extended play ''Slim Shady EP'' (1997), Eminem signed with Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment and subsequently achieved mainstream popularity in 1999 with ''The Slim Shady LP''. His next two releases, ''The Marshall Mathers LP'' (200 ...

Wasn't Tomorrow Wonderful?
''Wasn't Tomorrow Wonderful?'' is the debut album of new wave band the Waitresses, originally released in 1982 by Polydor, licensed from ZE Records. The album peaked at No. 41 in the ''Billboard'' 200 chart and included the earlier single "I Know What Boys Like". Reception AllMusic critic Ben Tausig, writing retrospectively, said that the album "was a unique and fairly important moment in early-'80s new wave", and noted that "lead singer Patty Donahue's singing ranged from a playful sexiness on the well-known hit "I Know What Boys Like" to a half-talk, half-yell with shades of post-punk groups like Gang of Four and the Raincoats on 'Pussy Strut' and 'Go On.' The guitar and bass were bizarre and funk-influenced in much the same way as other well-known Akron, OH, groups like Devo and the Pretenders". Track listing The original US release contained: #"No Guilt" – 3:46 #"Wise Up" – 3:20 #"Quit" – 5:10 #"It's My Car" – 3:20 #"Wasn't Tomorrow Wonderful?" – 3:40 #"I Know ...

Upon release, Flume told Zane Lowe from Apple Music Beats 1 "This EP is us as a friendship, hanging out, just making tracks, having too many good songs and we're like, 'We need to get these out into the world', so we were like, 'Let's just do an EP.'" The EP was certified gold in Australia in December 2019. Reception Caitlin Medcalf from Music Feeds said "The three-track affair traverses three different sounds for each artist, the title-track... offering up slow, RnB vibes with Flume's signature squelchy, syncopated production driving this one forward. 'Levitate' sees Cragun's vocal do the talking and finally, the EP closes out with 'Friends'". Katie Bain from ''Billboard A billboard (also called a hoarding in the UK and many other parts of the world) is a large outdoor advertising structure (a billing board), typically found in high-traffic area ...
