Quirino Avenue Extension
President Elpidio Quirino Avenue, more commonly known as Quirino Avenue, is a 6-10 lane divided highway in Manila, Philippines. It runs for in a northeast–southwest direction from Nagtahan Bridge (now Mabini Bridge) across from Santa Mesa in the north to Roxas Boulevard in Malate in the south. It passes through Paco and Pandacan districts where it also serves as a truck route between Port Area and South Luzon Expressway. North of Nagtahan Bridge, the road continues as Nagtahan Street. It is designated as part of Circumferential Road 2. The South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), signed as E2 of the Philippine expressway network and R-3 of the Metro Manila arterial road network, is a limited-access toll expressway that connects Metro Manila to the provinces in the Calabarzon region on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. Baywalk
The Baywalk is a popular seaside promenade and beachfront overlooking Manila Bay along Roxas Boulevard in the Manila, Philippines. The Baywalk is a two-kilometre stretch from the US Embassy near Rizal Park up to the Cultural Center of the Philippines just past the Manila Yacht Club. It is a popular venue at night with open-air cafés that serve local cuisine while onlookers may watch the Manila sunset. Many of the venues also feature music and live band performances. Quirino station (also known as Quirino Avenue station) is an elevated Manila Light Rail Transit (LRT) station situated on Line 1. The station serves Malate in Manila and is located at the meeting point of Taft Avenue, Quirino Avenue, and San Andres Street. The station is named after Quirino Avenue, which is in turn named after former president Elpidio Quirino. Quirino Avenue station is the sixth station for trains headed to Roosevelt and the fifteenth station for trains headed to Baclaran. Pedro Gil Street (formerly Herran Street) is an east-west inner city street and a tertiary national road in south-central Manila, Philippines. It is long and spans the entire length of Ermita, Manila, Ermita, Malate, Manila, Malate, Paco, Manila, Paco and Santa Ana, Manila, Santa Ana districts, as well as portions of San Andres, Manila, San Andres and Pandacan. Paco Railway Station
Paco station is a railway station located on the South Main Line in the city of Manila, Philippines. It was originally opened by the Manila Railroad Company in 1908 as a major hub in the southern half of Manila, where trains toward Cavite province once operated. The old train station building was designed by William E. Parsons and was completed in 1915. Prior to the electrification plan in the late 1970s, Paco was the southernmost double-track station on the line. The station eventually lost its significance in the following decades and only the façade remains intact with the interior in a state of decay after a 1996 demolition plan to give way for the construction of a shopping mall. A newer utilitarian platform area has been built for the PNR Metro Commuter Line behind the old station in 2009. Plaza Dilao
Plaza Dilao is a public square in Paco, Manila, bounded by Quirino Avenue to the east, and the rest of the plaza surrounded by the Plaza Dilao Road and Quirino Avenue Extension.
