Christopher Quinten
Christopher Quinten (born Christopher Bell; 12 July 1957) is a British actor, best known for his role as Brian Tilsley on '' Coronation Street'', which he played from 1978 to 1989. Career Quinten started his career as a dancer in West End productions, including the Victoria Palace with Cilla Black and Jimmy Tarbuck. He turned to acting and had his first role in the 1978 film '' International Velvet'', starring Tatum O'Neal. This appearance led to small parts in television series including ''Quatermass'' and '' Hazell'', and was also noticed by the ''Coronation Street'' casting offices, who gave Ivy Tilsley, the oft-seen Baldwin's worker, a son. Quinten was then signed to the programme, for which he worked for over a decade. His pairing with Gail Potter (played by Helen Worth) proved very popular for the serial in the 1980s. Quinten Peter Lynch (born 24 January 1983) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the Collingwood Football Club and the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Originally from Grass Patch, a rural farming community near Esperance, Western Australia, he played for the West Perth Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) before being recruited to West Coast with the 19th pick overall in the 2002 Rookie Draft. A utility player, Lynch began his career as a defender, but later switched to the forward line, leading West Coast's goalkicking in 2006 and 2007 as well as playing in the club's 2006 premiership side. Quinten Benjamin Frederick Rollins (born July 15, 1992) is a former American football cornerback. He played one year of college football at Miami University, after playing four years of basketball. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He also previously played for the Arizona Cardinals. Quinten J. Strange (born 21 August 1996) is a New Zealand rugby union player who currently plays as a lock for in the Bunnings NPC and the in the Super Rugby competition. Early career Strange was born in the small town of Tākaka and raised in the rural community of Collingwood. He attended Nelson College where he captained their top side. Quinten Ryan Crispito Timber (born 17 June 2001) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as midfielder for Feyenoord in the Eredivisie. Career Ajax Timber played in the youth academies of DVSU and Feyenoord, before he and his brother joined the Ajax Youth Academy in 2014. Quinten, Switzerland
Quinten is a hamlet situated on the north shore of the Walensee in Switzerland. It belongs to the municipality of Quarten. As there are no roads leading to Quinten, it is only reachable by boat or on foot. Geography Quinten consists of two main villages (Quinten and Au) and a large number of weekend houses that can be found throughout the villages. Au is the smaller of the two parts of Quinten and lies about one kilometer to the east of the main village. Quinten is an incredibly steep part of Switzerland and reaches from 419m above sea level (mean level of the Walensee) to 2193m above sea level. The horizontal distance between the main village and Schären (highest point) is about 2 kilometers. The rock in and around Quinten mainly consists of limestone which is responsible for the near-vertical cliffs towering above Quinten.
