Quinn O'Hara
Quinn O'Hara (January 3, 1941 – May 5, 2017), born Alice Jones, was a Scottish-born American actress and nurse. Early life O'Hara was born in Edinburgh. Later, she and her mother moved to Cardiff where she attended a convent school, then to Quebec when she was a teen, and eventually to Long Beach, California. Career O'Hara was crowned Miss Scotland in a beauty contest held in Long Beach in 1960. In April 1963, photographer Gene Lester introduced O'Hara to singer-actor Fabian; they became a couple for a time in the 1960s. In 1964, she was the decorative "queen" of the American Road Race of Champions in Riverside, greeting and posing with winners for photographs. In 1969, she was chosen on ''The Dating Game'' and went on a chaperoned trip to Nepal. O'Hara was a regular on ''The Lively Ones'', a musical program that was broadcast on NBC television in the summers of 1962 and 1963. "I was just used as a decoration," she recalled later. The Saint (TV Series)
''The Saint'' is a British mystery spy thriller television series that aired in the United Kingdom on ITV between 1962 and 1969. It was based on the literary character Simon Templar created by Leslie Charteris in the 1920s and featured in many novels over the years. In the television series, Templar was played by Roger Moore. Templar helps those whom conventional agencies are powerless or unwilling to protect, often using methods that skirt the law. Chief Inspector Claud Eustace Teal is his nominal nemesis who considers Templar a common criminal, but often grudgingly tolerates his actions for the greater good. NBC picked up the show as a summer replacement in its evening schedule in 1966 because of the strong performance in the United States of the first two series in first-run syndication. ''Dragnet'' is an American television series. It ran for four seasons, from January 12, 1967, to April 16, 1970. To differentiate it from the earlier 1950s '' Dragnet'' television series, the year in which each season ended was made part of the on-screen title—the series started as ''Dragnet 1967'' and ended as ''Dragnet 1970''. The entire series aired Thursdays at 9:30–10:00 pm (EST) and was directed by Jack Webb. All four seasons of this series have been released on DVD; Season 1 ("Dragnet 1967") by Universal Studios Home Entertainment, and seasons 2 ("1968"), 3 ("1969") and 4 ("1970") by Shout! Factory. This was the second television series in a ''Dragnet'' media franchise encompassing film, television, books and comics. Beverly Hills is a city located in Los Angeles County, California. A notable and historic suburb of Greater Los Angeles, it is in a wealthy area immediately southwest of the Hollywood Hills, approximately northwest of downtown Los Angeles. Animals may be trapped for a variety of purposes, including food, the fur trade, hunting, pest control, and wildlife management.
