Aldo Fabrizi
Aldo Fabrizi (; born Aldo Fabbrizi; 1 November 1905 – 2 April 1990) was an Italian actor, director, screenwriter and comedian, best known for the role of the heroic priest in Roberto Rossellini's ''Rome, Open City'' and as partner of Totò in a number of successful comedies. Life and career Born in Rome into a humble family, Fabrizi debuted on stage in a suburban theater in 1931. He soon got local success thanks to his comical sketches and '' macchiette'' (i.e. comical monologues caricaturing stock characters), and became a star of the Roman revue and ''avanspettacolo''. Zoe Incrocci (21 September 1917 – 6 November 2003) was an Italian actress and voice actress. Biography Born in Brescia, Incrocci was the older sister of the screenwriter Agenore Incrocci. She made her film debut at young age in a supporting role in the 1934 comedy film ''L'eredità dello zio buonanima'' directed by Amleto Palermi. She worked intensively in theater, radio, television and films. She was also a very active voice actress. Anita Durante (28 September 1897 – 2 May 1994) was an Italian actress. Born Anita Bianchi in Rome into a humble family, after attending a dramatic society for several years Durante made her official debut on stage in 1919, in Ettore Petrolini's ''Romani de Roma''. Married with the actor Checco Durante, she stayed with the Petrolini's stage company nine years, then she formed a company with her husband. Armenia Balducci (13 March 1933 – 29 July 2022) was an Italian actress, screenwriter and director. Biography Balducci was elected Miss Testaccio and had a short acting career, acting under the pseudonym Bella Visconti, which spanned six films between 1953 and 1956; it was only in 1971 that she returned in front of the cameras for an appearance in '' Sacco & Vanzetti''.
