Queens Community Board 7
The Queens Community Board 7 is a local governmental advisory board in New York City, encompassing the neighborhoods of Flushing, Bay Terrace, College Point, Whitestone, Malba, Murray Hill, Linden Hill, Beechhurst, Queensboro Hill and Willets Point, in the borough of Queens. It is delimited by the Flushing Bay to the west, the East River to the north, Utopia Parkway (south of 24th Avenue) and Little Neck Bay (north of 24th Avenue) on the east, and Reeves Avenue on the south. CB7 is the biggest community board in Queens. Half of the board's members are appointed by the Queens Borough President, and half are nominated by the New York City Council members who represent the district. Utopia Parkway (Queens)
Utopia Parkway is a major street in the New York City borough of Queens. Starting in the neighborhood of Beechhurst and ending in the Jamaica Estates neighborhood, the street connects Cross Island Parkway and Northern Boulevard in the north to Union Turnpike, Grand Central Parkway and Hillside Avenue in the south. History and naming Simon Freeman, Samuel Resler, and Joseph Fried incorporated the Utopia Land Company in 1903. The following year, the Utopia Land Company bought of land between the communities of Jamaica and Flushing. Flushing Bay
Flushing Bay is a tidal embayment in New York City. It is located on the south side of the East River and stretches to the south near the neighborhood of Flushing, Queens. It is bordered on the west by LaGuardia Airport and the Grand Central Parkway, on the south by Northern Boulevard, and on the east by the neighborhood of College Point.
