Synopsis The Duke of Novara-Liechtenstein flees his homeland to escape from an arranged marriage with Princess Anna Silvana. She pursues him and tracks him down to the hotel where he is staying. Kurt Hoffmann
Kurt Hoffmann (12 November 1910 – 25 June 2001) was a German film director, the son of Carl Hoffmann. He directed 48 films between 1938 and 1971. He ran a production company Independent Film along with Heinz Angermeyer. His 1958 film ''Wir Wunderkinder'' was entered into the 1st Moscow International Film Festival and his 1960 film '' The Haunted Castle'' was entered into the 2nd Moscow International Film Festival where it won the Silver Prize. Franz-Otto Krüger
Franz-Otto Krüger (1 April 1917 – 17 March 1988) was a German film and television actor. Krüger already started his acting at Berlin theatres in 1934, but his career was interrupted by his service in the Second World War. He appeared in over 125 film and television productions between 1947 and 1987, mostly in supporting roles. One of his first films was Roberto Rossellini's neorealist classic ''Germany, Year Zero''. In addition to acting, he also worked as a stage and television director in his later career. He was also employed as a voice actor and director of German dubbings. Käthe Haack (born Käte Lisbeth Minna Sophie Isolde Haack; 11 August 1897 – 5 May 1986) was a German stage and film actress. She appeared in more than 200 films and 30 television productions between 1915 and 1985. Life and career Käte Lisbeth Minna Sophie Isolde Haack was born in Berlin on 11 August 1897. After finishing school education, Haack had her first engagement as an actress in Göttingen. Since 1915, she regularly appeared in Berlin theatres like Theater am Schiffbauerdamm, Volksbühne and Deutsches Theater.
