Queen Mary Road (officially in french: chemin Queen-Mary) is an east-west road located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Queen Mary Road crosses the borough of Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grace and the town of Hampstead and is located on the northwest flank of Mount Royal. The road was named in 1910 in honour of Mary of Teck, who became Queen consort on May 6, 1910, when her husband George V became King of the United Kingdom. History In 1900, urban residents could still enjoy the rural northern flank of Mount Royal by taking the path of the Côte-des-Neiges Road and then Côte-Saint-Luc Road. The urbanization of the territory started in 1925 with the connection of different tram lines. Saint Joseph's Oratory
Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mount Royal (french: Oratoire Saint-Joseph du Mont-Royal) is a Roman Catholic minor basilica and national shrine located at 3800 Queen Mary Road in the Côte-des-Neiges neighborhood on Mount Royal's Westmount Summit in Montreal, Quebec. Côte-des-Neiges Road
Côte-des-Neiges Road (officially in french: chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges) is a street in Montreal, home to Plaza Côte-des-Neiges. It is served by Métro Côte-des-Neiges and two bus lanes. BIXI bike rental is also available. It extends from the intersection of Sherbrooke Street and Guy Street in the south to Jean-Talon Street and Laird Boulevard in the north, at the border with the Town of Mount Royal. Part of it follows the path of the former Raimbault Creek (now an underground collector sewer) between the main peak of Mount Royal and Westmount Summit. It is the economic and cultural heart of the Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood. The Blue Line (french: Ligne bleue) is one of the four lines of the Montreal Metro in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was the fourth to be built, notwithstanding its alternate official name of "Line 5" ( Line 3 was planned, but never built). Snowdon is a neighbourhood located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is part of the Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough. The area is centred on the intersection of the Décarie Expressway and Queen Mary Road. Decarie Expressway
Autoroute 15 (also called the Décarie Expressway (English) or Autoroute Décarie (French) between the Turcot and Décarie Interchanges in Montreal and the Laurentian Autoroute (English) or Autoroute des Laurentides (French) north of Autoroute 40) is a highway in western Quebec, Canada. It was, until the extension of Autoroute 25 was opened in 2011, the only constructed north-south autoroute to go out of Montreal on both sides. A-15 begins at the end of Interstate 87 at the United States border at Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle and extends via Montreal to Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts with an eventual continuation beyond Mont-Tremblant.
